UPDATED 10-23 WE WERE NOT ABLE TO HELP THESE DOGS AT ALL DUE TO THE LACK OF FUNDS WE WOULD NEED TO HELP THEM 🚨 URGENT! WE DESPERATELY NEED OUR COMMUNITY TODAY! 🚨🐾💔

Just when we thought we couldn’t stretch ourselves any thinner, here we are again. 😭

Another rescue is sadly closing its doors, and we’ve stepped up to help TWO of their sweet dogs who have been stuck in boarding for far too long. 💔

These two are incredibly friendly and currently in Colorado, but our goal is to get them to Los Angeles and into loving foster or forever homes ASAP!

Here’s the heartbreaking reality: We’re paying $1,500 EVERY WEEK just to keep these two dogs in boarding! 😭 That’s money we simply don’t have, and every day without a foster or adopter means another bill piling up.

THIS is what rescue is supposed to be about. RESCUES HELPING RESCUES! ❤️‍🩹

We’re all fighting for the same thing: to save lives. Sadly, so many rescues are struggling that helping one another has become harder than ever. But when another rescue closes its doors, where are these dogs supposed to go? We refuse to let them be forgotten.

And as if our plates weren’t already overflowing, one of our newest rescue dogs had to go to the vet THIS MORNING, leaving us with yet ANOTHER medical bill to cover. 😭

🙏🏼 WE NEED HELP TODAY!

🐾 FOSTERS OR ADOPTERS: Please DM us! These babies deserve homes, not boarding facilities!

❤️ DONATIONS: $5, $10, $20 — ANY amount helps us keep these dogs safe while we work to get them into homes and cover today’s unexpected vet expenses.

We cannot continue taking on these enormous bills without support. We’re doing everything we can, but we genuinely cannot do this alone.

PLEASE DONATE, SHARE, OR OPEN YOUR HOME. Every single bit of help makes a difference.

From the bottom of our hearts, mahalo for continuing to stand beside us and the dogs who need us most. 🌺🐾❤️

What is a repair for environmental damage that isn’t another supplement or special food?

One of my favorite holistic veterinarians, @drmarlenesiegel , and Energy Expert, @danstach11 , come together in this fascinating interview on my The Pet Health Coach podcast on Pet Life Radio, with critical information and real tools to help us support better health in ourselves and our pets.

In this world fraught with so much toxic onslaught to our and our pets’ bodies, this one’s a don’t miss.

Wolves Were Gone from Yellowstone for 70 Years. When They Came Back, the Rivers Changed Course.

When wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone in 1995, scientists expected ecological benefits. What actually happened went far beyond any prediction. 🐺🌿

Elk that had been overgrazing riverbanks without predators began avoiding exposed valleys where wolves could trap them. Plants and trees grew back along the riverbanks. Roots stabilized the soil. Erosion slowed. Rivers changed course. Beavers returned when willows grew back, and their dams created wetlands that supported fish, birds, and amphibians. The reintroduction of a single predator reshaped the behavior of other animals, the growth of vegetation, and the physical path of rivers. Scientists call this a trophic cascade.

One species came home and the whole park changed.
