Mt rinjani pt2

35 degrees, 45 degree incline, 15 hours total, pure grit, strength and persistence,

Felt sick at pos 3, pushed through to camp, almost couldn’t climb the summit due to high winds, guide also instructed me that I wouldn’t be able to climb the summit if I was sick, so I sucked it back up and made myself better, and pushed through to the top,

Mentally this broke me, I had to give this 110% effort, bleeding from 3 toes, 6 blisters, busted shins and claves

But no amount of pain could take away this achievement

Last thing - personally would like to thank the @west.trot boys and everyone else for the support, seeing your messages and support made this possible

@west.trot - A space for men to come and jam on Saturday night instead the usual beers drugs etc. Such an awesome thing to be apart of tbh. Thanks for having me brothers 🙏 @sayless.tei @mlbrrn & shoutout @awasideperformance for opening up their gym for it aswell (best gym out there 😜)

The story of Big TROTTA and the half marathon 🏃🏻 Solid start to the day, but found that a 2nd lap back niggle came to play 🫡 with a bit of deep heat and some motivation from the West Trot boys he finished strong 💪🏻 WEST TROT BABYY 🔥🏁

GEELONG HALF MARATHON ✅ | DAY 20 STEPtember 💚

21.1km done today.

But today was about more than a finish line or a time.

Day 20 of STEPtember — another chance to move with purpose, push myself, and remember why I’m doing this in the first place.

This month is for my nephew, for people living with cerebral palsy, and for the whānau who walk alongside them every single day. 💚

There were definitely moments out there today where the legs were asking questions 😂 but you keep moving. One foot in front of the other.

Grateful for a body that allows me to do this.
Grateful for everyone who has supported and donated.
Grateful to be able to use something I love to help a cause that means something to our whānau.

21.1km down. Day 20 down. We keep moving.

STEPtember isn’t over yet.
