Just a few weeks away from @westcoast.sc Static Championships where I’m hoping to PB in log, deadlift (300kg?) and stone 💪🏻 and with the log moving like this, I think I stand a pretty good chance 💪🏻

Naturally, first session back means this wee psychopath chases a new PB, and once obviously wasn’t enough 🤷🏻‍♀️💪🏼🩷

Love this shit!

300kg feeling good 💪🏼. Not posted for a while, week 3 of the new plan and today it was slow and controlled deadlifts to try stop the bounce which I’m bad for at times, so slowing the lift down and making sure a good lock out at top then controlled to the floor, week 3 and it’s 300kg for a treble, I remember when 300kg for a rep was the goal 💪🏼💪🏼 now for reps in the early part of a block, I’ve also stuck with the Cerberus deadlift suit which I’m starting to love 💪🏼

Scotland’s Strongest Man u23 🥉

Not quite the result I was hoping for, but after puking after the bag to shoulder, I’m happy with how my mentality has grown since last year. Massive leaps in that, now it’s just time to work on the physical aspect, and use this as a learning experience.

Good to see some younger boys getting out there, yous all have something in yous. So keep pushing and yous will all do amazingly in the sport. And a massive congrats to @carter05_sm for getting that win, and the place at the final.

Thank you to everyone for all the support up to this, my family, @aliciahxix , the folk at @virtuoso_hairdressing for making me look nice and fresh, @dr__pressure for fixing me up and making sure my body was feeling the best it could be, and everyone at @edinburghstrength for being a class gym and the support you’ve given me along the way.

Massive props to @craigteamanvil for listening to me whinge and making me the athlete I am today.

Cannot thank you all enough.

Onto the next one with my head held high, and now time to graft hard.

Thank you to all those who’ve supported me over the years as I’ve now secured a spot at the @scotlandsstrongestman final in 2027, big step up but have a year to get bigger and stronger.
Thank you to the great community that is @edinburghstrength and all your guidance thank you to all of @westcoast.sc for the whole comp and thank you to @strengthforge_ for being a class coach!
To any lads just starting out no matter how you place today keep working and your time will come this sport is a marathon not a sprint, big love to everyone who’s pushed me and supported me thank you❤️

Saturday will determine how far I’ve came and how far I’ve still to go, after a year of what I thought would be my worst has turned into the best opportunity of my life, all the set backs and hard work leads up to September 19th, I’m truly grateful and extremely thankful for this opportunity, it will be one I won’t be wasting, I will be putting all of my passion on the field proving I belong to be there amongst so many outstanding athletes, it’s more than just a sport to me! 💪🦣
