My experience at the WeTech 2026 Flagship Conference was AMAZING! 🤩🔥 For a nonprofit organization, WeTech Inc. truly went above and beyond to deliver a beautiful, well-organized, and impactful conference. From free transportation to and from the venue 🚐 to breakfast, a sumptuous lunch, drinks, and lovely freebies from vendors 🎁, everything was thoughtfully taken care of. And guess what? I didn’t spend a single naira throughout the event! 😂💃🏽 Beyond the amazing hospitality, we had inspiring guest speakers, a business pitch and grant session, and fantastic networking opportunities with incredible people in the tech community. 💻 A huge thank you to @wetechofficial for putting together such a memorable experience. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated! ❤️ Already looking forward to WeTech 2027! 🚀 #WeTech2026 #WeTechInc #WomenInTech #TechCommunity #Networking TechEvents WomenInTechAfrica LagosEvents

A little glimpse into an experience worth sharing! 💻💜 Late last month, I had the privilege of volunteering at one of Africa’s largest women-in-tech conference in Nigeria, hosted by @wetechofficial It was more than just volunteering; it was an opportunity to connect, learn, contribute, and witness the incredible impact of women making waves in technology. From the inspiring conversations to the energy in the room, the experience was truly worthwhile. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve, be part of something meaningful, and contribute to a community that champions women's growth and inclusion in tech. Here's to more opportunities to learn, serve, grow, and make an impact! #wetech #womenintech #volunteeringexperience #wetech2026 networking

Women should not just participate in shaping the future. They should have the power to define it. Women make up half of Nigeria’s population, yet representation in corporate leadership and access to capital remain unequal. Wetech’s 2026 flagship conference, The Power Shift: Women Leading The Future Of AI, Capital, And Innovation, brought together over 2,500 women, founders, investors and ecosystem leaders to confront these gaps and explore what it will take to close them. From ownership of AI and African data to policy, funding and the realities of building businesses, the conversations challenged us to think beyond representation and focus on the structures, resources and opportunities women need to lead. The founder discussions were particularly insightful, highlighting the realities of navigating economic uncertainty, making difficult business decisions and building sustainable ventures. PitchHer 2026 also spotlighted women building innovative solutions, with Victoria Duru of Wakamedics winning the ₦5 million top prize. My sincere appreciation to Gabriella Uwadiegwu and Flora Uwadiegwu, founders of Wetech, for building a platform that advances women’s participation in technology, capital and innovation. Thank you to the Wetech team, the speakers, ecosystem partners and sponsors for contributing to this important work. The Power Shift is not simply about getting more women into the room. It is about ensuring women have the access, resources and influence to shape what happens in it. #Wetech2026 #ThePowerShift #WomenInTech #PitchHer2026 #AfricaBuildsAI WomenLeadingAI

Swipe 👉 👉 Your Customers Don't Experience Your Business Only on Social Media. We spend so much time thinking about how a business looks on Instagram, WhatsApp and its website that it's easy to forget something: Your brand still has to exist in the physical world. A customer might discover you online but they could experience your brand for the first time through the sign outside your shop, a roadside display, a banner at your entrance, a printed piece they see while walking past. Those moments matter too. For D Queen's Beauty Arena, I wanted the visual communication to feel like an extension of the brand rather than something that simply carries information. It needed to attract attention, communicate what the business offers, and still feel cohesive with the kind of experience you'd expect when you walk into the space. That's why I don't look at a design only as a composition on a screen. I think about where it will live, how people will encounter it, and what they need to understand within those few seconds. Because a brand doesn't stop being a brand when the Instagram app is closed. Your customers experience it wherever they meet it and good brand design has to be ready for those moments too.
