“Hilario Bautista-D’Loma is at the edge of the market, and his ready smile is the last thing everyone sees on their way to the parking lot. It is easy to get caught up in the beautiful produce and the excitement of the gardens’ progress and miss out on the rich human lives and complex lived experiences that make up the heart of what the gardens are about.” Read “Roots Taking Hold,” by Addie Studebaker @whatamilookingatt in the current fall issue and on our website. We are grateful for all the support, creativity, and teamwork that made this year's Art Camp at The Nave possible. ✨To the Atwood Foundation and Cook Inlet Housing Authority: Chin'an, Thank you for your generous and meaningful support of arts education in Spenard. One parent said it best: Art Camp "provides a safe place to explore, be creative, and just be with others that truly enjoy art. Thank you so much for providing this amazing opportunity!" ✨To our Art Camp Instructors and Staff, we appreciate your immense dedication and effort to ensure the best experience for all. Big thanks to Graham Dane, Addie Studebaker, Valerie Lake, Julia Murakami, Christine Sundly, Candace Blas, Anastasia Lyons, Ashley Young, and Victoria Bel DiZio. ✨To our amazing Art Campers who showed up each day to do their best, show kindness, and have fun - we are endlessly inspired by your imagination and joy. ✨To all the families who sent their children to Art Camp: thank you for empowering youth to try new things, collaborate, and connect with community through art. You're making Alaska's future brighter! ❤ 🎨Next up is SUKDU Lab in July, which focuses on Comics, Culture, and Storytelling for youth of all abilities and backgrounds, ages 12-16. ⁣RAIN ON A CONGA DRUM⠀ ⠀ fresh Hazy IPA at the Railroad Ave. brewery today! ⠀ ⠀ We did this one a couple year’s back with the original label design by our super talented friend Addie Studebaker @whatamilookingatt & we had enough labels left over to run it again! ⠀ ⠀ This batch features a pilsner malt base, Citra & Mosaic in the whirlpool, Idaho 7 active fermentation dry hop, and then a second Idaho 7 dry hop. Juicy as juicy gets with all those stone fruits you know & love. Big aroma. Bright citrus flavor profile. But don’t take our word for it, get down here and crush a few & take cans out on your springtime adventures! 6.5% ABV. IBUs: 😵‍💫
