Swipe to see each book separately, and the spredges at the end!! 👀

I tested a new filter from my phone photo app, what do you think? I think it's great for a Halloween/October themed post, but I'm not sure I'll use it for other posts haha.

And now I'm challenging you with VAMPIRE 😝 (I tried to find a word that 1. I haven't seen yet for this challenge, 2. doesn't have double letters, and 3. that I know since my Halloween vocabulary is restricted by my English vocabulary 😂)

A little Sunday shoutout to some accounts I’ve been loving these past few weeks 🤎 apologise in advance if my voice note came without warning ‼️
Made so many new bookish friends recently and honestly you’re all terrible for my TBR but very good for my soul 😂

Have a look and give them some love they are all amazing . Finding your kind of people is the best part of being here 🫶

Elle is taking over my TBR for October and I can't say no because, well, she said so 🤷

I've been Ellefluenced! Here is my Oc-TBR post hehe 🫣

Now it's your turn to influence my TBR! Which books should I read first? 👀

Disclaimer: that's my full TBR, not the one restricted to October. That would have required me to choose in advance which books I plan to read, which is impossible 😂 so here are alllll my books. (They are heavy, do you see the struggle on slide 2? 😂)

Disclaimer 2: my digital TBR is incomplete. I've tried my best to include the ebooks I remember I bought, and the upcoming ARCs I already have or will have soon....but I'm 100% confident I missed/forgot some, I'm very sorry!!

Disclaimer 3: French books (as in, written in French) have their titles written upside down compared to English written books. So in my physical TBR, all books are in the same direction, facing up, bottom on the same side. However titles direction don't match, it's stressing me out, but it's not my fault 😂

P.S. I'm wearing a version of @knitatude Dayglow Tank top pattern 😍

P.S.2: I'm creating a new hashtag because I've been Ellefluenced several times now: #ellefluenced 😝

🎃OC-TBR CHALLENGE🎃

a challenge created by the ever lovely @whatellereadnext , Oc-TBR is about prioritizing the physical books on your TBR over the ARCs! here’s what’s on my list!!

i have been meaning to re-read Percy Jackson for months now, but there’s always other books to read, but i am COMMITTING to at the very least starting it this month.

i also owe @paging.vanth a Grim Tidings read, so that’s here, and the rest I’ve had on my shelf for a while but haven’t gotten around to! now is my chance.

what’s on your TBR?

So while the lovely @whatellereadnext is doing Oct-TBR

I'm doing ARC-tober because why have 1 when you can have 4 🤣

And then maybe I'll tackle at least 1 book off my TBR

I have decided to join @whatellereadnext in her genius (and punny af) plan for October… aka Oc-TBR 😏🙌🏻

I have read SO many arcs this year and have completely neglected my actual tbr 😬
After only getting back into reading at the start of last year, I’ve got loads of fantasy and romantasy backlist titles to catch up on! 🫣

I’ve narrowed things down a bit, but obvs my spicy brain is incapable of making any actual decisions so that’s where I need your help 🙏🏻
Which of these books should I prioritise? 👀
Are there any I should bump down the list? 👇🏻

Also tagging some booksta pals in case they’d like to join in with Oc-TBR 🥰

What's YOUR favorite quote from Voidwalker and Sunsplitter? Comment below!

Pecial thanks to @paging.vanth for the spiffy graphics template ♥♥♥

ABOUT THE BEASTS OF THE VOID DUOLOGY:

Fi has a rare gift: the ability to walk the Void, perfect for her work as a cross-dimensional smuggler. Survival and fortune depend on following her strict set of rules: keep your routes secret, draw your energy sword first, and - at all costs - avoid the daeyari, the immortal beasts armed with antlers, claws, and tails who feast on humans.

Antal is a hunter, seemingly as cold as he is cunning - but in over his head, with his city crumbling and this infuriating smuggler insisting she had nothing to do with it. So he offers Fi a deal: help him find the mastermind behind the attack and he'll spare her life.

Neither are prepared for what it will ignite. The taboo alliance between predator and prey could spark a revolution - and a temptation, for how sweet the monster's fangs might feel...

After helping the Lord Daeyari reclaim his territory, semi-reformed smuggler Fi dons a daunting new role: rebuilding a city alongside her monstrous partner, a haven free from bloody sacrifice.

So when Antal's father unexpectedly summons him home, Fi's first instinct is to ready her claws. Only, claws won't be enough for this adversary. Antal faces his first homecoming in five decades, dreading two truths.

We did an ARC buddy read of Bloodbound and we are not okay.

This book! THIS BOOK AHHHH!! I think part of why we loved it so much was because it was such an unexpected delight in SO MANY WAYS. (Thank you Cassie for forcing me to apply for this one - Elle)

The world and magic system that @j.a_good_author has developed was nothing short of stunning. It felt so unique and yet so rich in detail - we both actually felt like we were with the characters whenever they used the threads.

Surprising no one, we're gonna scream about the found family even though we've screamed plenty already in our DMs (as shown on slide three). THIS is how found family should be done! The relationship between all of them and Isa, as well as their relationships with each other, just had the whole ring being a beautifully cohesive unit - and yes, we would die for each and every single one of them, but especially Merrick. (And Niko, we'll get back to our new favorite microtrope on the next slide.)

This book is incredible. We will eagerly be awaiting the next installment in the series. Like, really eagerly. Like feral toddlers.

3 more days to go!!
What's your favourite trope? 👀 I think my fave one from Incendiary is the animal companion....but then Shera is my favourite character so far, so I might be a tiny bit biased 🫣
