POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Tonight I watched a movie I've waited 41 years to be made. Then I created a storyboard (via AI) to show that I am the one who finally saved that lost 14 year old girl who ran from everything. I am now the adult I needed & will continue to be for young survivors as long as I am able! I have tagged some of the people who have helped me during my awakening so they know how much they mean to me 🫶🏼 Also, HUGE shoutout to @ParisHilton, she knows why #unsilencedvoices #TroubledTeenIndustry #StopInstitutionalChildAbuse #TheCunninghamSisters #resilience

The power of media! A State Senator in Idaho voted yes on our bill in part because he's seen one of the several documentaries that have been made about Troubled Teen Industry programs. Have you seen any documentaries about abuse in the TTI?

Way to go @caroline.alex.cole! This new legislation from @parishilton's @11.11media Impact PASSED and is on its way to @governorbradlittle's desk. Thank you for all the work that you do to help vulnerable youth across all 50 states and beyond.

Big news! Our Idaho bill is on its way to @governorbradlittle's desk to be signed into law. This testimony was excellent. Thank you to all the survivors in Idaho who showed up to the hearing to speak about your firsthand experiences. Thank you Rep Marco Erikson and Senator @aliforidaho for being a voice for Idaho's most vulnerable children. This bill will create a youth bill of rights for all kids who enter residential treatment in Idaho

Thank you @11.11media @parishilton @caroline.alex.cole for all your hard work this year and for inviting me to be a part of this awesome, life saving work for youth

They called it ‘therapy.’ I just remember the silence.

Just watched @thewildernessmovie (in theaters now) — a gripping and painful look at what happens when “therapy” becomes harm.

This film sheds light on the hidden realities of wilderness therapy programs—places meant to heal, that instead isolate, control & traumatize.

If you or someone you know has been through something like this: you are not alone. It’s time to raise our voices, demand accountability, and define healing differently.
