Week 7️⃣ overall, and it’s week 3 of SPOOKTOBER

Jac certainly had me scratching my head with this one! Stack your books to recreate the colour and shape of a pumpkin. Or even carve a pumpkin to match the image on the cover of a seasonal book. Make this challenge yours with your own interpretation. Well, I can tell you, that putting books into the shape of a pumpkin is not easy! 🎃😂🎃😂

🎃Spot the Difference🎃

I got challenged by @mikeyjriches to create a stack that spelt SPOOKY... now I know what you're all thinking, what an easy word that was.... well... you are wrong!! 🫠🤣

Not only did I struggled to find a book that began with a Y, it turns out I also cant actually spell because if you give it a cheeky swipe you'll see the utter failure I almost posted before I then realised my mistake🥲 Sometimes I pretend to be smarter than I actually am🤓🫠

Anyway after that little hiccup, Im challenging @lishas_chapters @chapterswithchaos @whatnjreads @coffeeandchapterswithjade @boundinblushreads to spell ZOMBIE ... if you dare 🧟‍♀️

We meet Aurora, princess of a kingdom in the Southlands; a land where humans fear wolves from the north. She meets Callum, a wolf, who’s been fighting at her father’s castle and takes her willingly as his captive, to escape a horrific upcoming marriage to the horrible Sebastian. She was just a pawn in the game between her father and Sebastian.

She escapes with Callum to the Northlands to see the Wolf King. They’re looking for a legendary stone that will allow them to shift from man to wolf anytime they wish; not just a full moon. While waiting for the king to return, she stays at the castle and meets Fiona, a wolf, who helps her deal with life. Callum and his friend Blake try to figure out what to do next. Over time, Aurora finds Callum to be a kind hearted man and starts falling for him but he’s reluctant to break his promise to protect her. One night, when they start falling for each other, he’s called away to help the King.

Aurora has found herself; no longer a piece of property belonging to her father but a woman who knows what she wants in life. With Blake playing both sides, he’s not one to trust. I won’t spoil the end of this book because it’s so good and it’s left over to what happened next.
There are some great parallels to other stories such as ACOTAR from Sarah J Maas, Game of Thrones and Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I need to know what happens next and how the story will end.

A special edition of the 5 under 500 to celebrate reaching 4K followers last week! 🥳

This week I've done a countdown from accounts with 1000 followers as there are SO MANY accounts I want to celebrate. A massive thank you to EVERYONE who follows me, interacts with my posts and stories (which this week have been a bit on the weird and wonderful side) and joins me on this amazing bookish journey. 🌟📚

Also did something a little different this week with the Brucey Bonus, going for a very non-bookish account as voted for by my people in my group chat (poor lad) therefore I take no responsibility... he's currently dying of a hangover so treat him kindly! 🤣
