January started with a bang bang at Simp Simpli! At our new community home @shoonyaspace , we had @ashok.hariharan facilitate our very first session. We took a deep dive into short forms of Improv. We explored what it meant to think on our feet while slowing down and taking a beat before responding. It was an experiential museum as we worked in pairs and smaller groups and watched scene building onstage. Ashok expertly and gently held us through the process, while giving us the much needed improv gyaan with very many sports metaphors. Our second session on Musical Improv was held by @felix.hartley . He tenderly held all the musical participants in the room and invited us all to play in the field of rhythms and melodies freely. By the end of it, all of us could build sing song scenes together. He serenaded us with very many songs and tunes through the session. We are very grateful to our brilliant facilitators who mix theory and practice with play and of course to our enthu cutlet participants, who make the community happen! Many more jams are coming through the year, check the link in Bio to register off ✨✨ Thank you @whatsonquests for the pictures! #fypシ❤️💞❤️ #bangalore #improv #bangaloreimprov
