European elegance on the North Shore.
Giana and Matty at the Vanderbilt. There’s a certain nostalgia in these frames that only a Super 8 vibe can capture. Cinematic, understated, and timeless.

The Lennon's!

Joanna and James celebrated their Memorial Day weekend wedding at @theoldfieldclub surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was an unforgettable day, and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather or a better vendor team to help bring their vision to life

Thinking back to this past fall when it rained nearly every weekend. I know almost everyone dreads rain on their wedding day, but the thing is no one can control the weather. I sure wish I could! However, when you think about it, on any other day rain can bring a sense of calm and comfort. I always tell my couples to focus on the beautiful purpose of your wedding day. Weather aside, it is all about you sharing your love and life together with your person. And with a little bit of trust, and a kick ass vendor team, you may have some magical moments like Jess & Ryan did.

Before the pandemic, I had the great joy of playing at a dear friend’s wedding with some of the best people I know. We had such a great time performing together that we’ve decided to make it ~Instagram official~ we are @whatthepluckstrings!

I (obviously) love classical music and traditional wedding repertoire, but what makes playing with this group so fun is the wild range we have. We do pop, rock, jazz & trad too, and we’ll arrange your favorite songs for strings. We’ll even break out the acoustic guitar if what you really need someone to play Wonderwall. We have the gig book of your dreams (and mine), and most of all after this wild year, I just can’t wait to play together again.

If you or anyone you know is getting married or needs music to make an event special, we’ve got you ♥️

(Yes I took apart the gig book to take a picture of the music all spread out)

((Special shout out to @daniellesteingard who trusted us to play on the best day))

(((And super mega ultra thanks to @shannonereardon for designing our poppin’ business cards!)))

In the words of @vmelia20, “It’s been so long since I’ve been to a rehearsal that I’m unpacking in the wrong order.”

Super grateful to be among string friends and play good music by @gelflings27 and remember how to music again 🎵💕
