Long Island based string ensemble specializing in Bridgerton vibes 🎵

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As the spring wedding season kicks off, this seems like a great time to reintroduce ourselves 🎵🩷 Hi! We are What the Pluck?! and we would love to play your wedding!

In order from left to right, we are Sam (cello), Jess (violin), Gabriella (viola), and Sabrina (bass). We’ve been playing together since 2019 and have been friends for even longer. Most of us are orchestra teachers by day. We’re so excited that Bridgerton style pop string arrangements are having a moment because that’s what we’ve always done best. Our ideal Friday night is gathering at one of our places to rehearse and catch up, make dinner and drinks, and laugh and play music all night long.

Outside of What the Pluck?!, you can catch us in a bunch of other groups around Long Island including @thenewstudents bluegrass, @getgunky girl funk, @northfolkband Nordic trio, @isitcaketheband cover band, and @northshoresymphonyorchestra. Come say hi anytime!! by @whatthepluckstrings

There are two kinds of quartets at the Pitbull concert…

We present to you one of the most romantic songs in our repertoire: Pitbull’s Give Me Everything.

Classic “had so much fun playing that we forgot to take more videos” kind of summer. Thank you to everyone who asked us to be part of their weddings this year! We cried and laughed and cheered with all your vows 💖

Sometimes for a very special song, we’ll break out the guitar.

One such song: Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen 👑👨🏻🕺🏻🎵

Don’t be alarmed if we fall head over feet for Delia & Mike’s wedding pictures 😍 While our cellist and bassist were busy in the wedding party, we tagged in some friends to play for their gorgeous cocktail hour!#bridgertonvibes #weddingmusic #stringquartet #bridesoflongisland taken in Marina Del Rey, Bronx by @whatthepluckstrings
