🎭 CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT: JAYE

Meet Jaye.

The life of the party.
The loudest laugh in the room.

The friend everyone wants around.Jaye reminds us that the people who seem the strongest are often carrying the heaviest burdens.

But what happens when the jokes stop?

Behind every smile is a story no one sees.
Because sometimes laughter isn't happiness...
It's survival.

💬 Which do you think is harder: asking for help or admitting you need it?

Follow Damaged Goods as these stories unfold.

This is why we do what we do! If we don't show up with equipment and supplies these kids will continue to be unsupported, underdeveloped and left to play with fire, literally! We're here to put out these fires and burning desires to allow kids to be happy & heathy - to show them that we see you, we care and we do everything we can to build them up and impact change!

Saturdays are for SERVICE! We're always so grateful for the help and support that we receive! Huge thanks to these 2 incredibly thoughtful cadets and student athletes from the Naval Academy Soccer Team who spent their Saturday morning making the world a better place helping us clean, sort and prep sneakers donations that we will be taking on our upcoming mission trip to the Dominican Republic!

If you are interested in making an impact, click the link in our bio to see how you can step up and make a difference! ✨#TeamChangeTheWorld🌍

Show me what you got! Lol - Can anyone guess whats in the box? If you know us then you know whats up! WE LOVE HIGHLIGHTING PEOPLE LIKE THIS because they are pure magic! You ask for a pair of shoes and get a box and bag full - And they have friends who they have told about our cause that want to donate as well! Some of my own friends and family don't even do that and have yet to donate! When you embark on a mission, you don't always get to choose who plays what role. People just step up & You never know who! We cant make anyone care about this work, or donate to it - But when we come across these magical people, I make sure they know what they mean to me, us and to our global mission! When we say we cant do this work without you. This is who we mean!☝🏽😇👟✨🌍🤗

Not all sneaker donations go abroad! Many stay right here in the community! Especially when we hear of student or a family in need! We spring into action!

We've always had 'those people' that ask why we do so much for kids in other countries.. I often don't respond at least not with words because it's clear what we do, who we do it for, and where it all takes place! Lets this be our response to what we do locally.. No words are necessary beyond this - We are ABOUT THAT LIFE!😤✨🌍

Sending a huge THANK YOU to the team and fitness community at @a_dfitness! We pulled up on 3days notice and collected over 100 pairs of sneakers for our upcoming mission trip! They were so welcoming - They even made space for us in their Boxing Bootcamp which I was lucky to survive! 😅We just want to say thanks again for tapping into your platform to make the world a better place and highlight how much FUN it was! Everyone who donated did so with a gracious heart - We even had to come back for more donations that people wanted to make sure we got! We got the donations. We felt the love! And we will be back!

Anyone in RI looking to take their fitness to the next level needs to stop in @a_dfitness! Their class schedule, nutrition plans and family vibe will have you hooked instantly!
