Episode 4 | Unrelenting Faith The word 'unrelenting' means "extremely determined, never weakening, or continuing without stopping; unwavering determination." Coupled with the function of faith, unrelenting faith is a stance, an action of courage + the ability to never stop believing that you are capable of seeing the dreams that God has placed on your heart! Of course, there have been times when I have been scared + my faith was lacking or times when I didn't have any faith at all. But, I decided a long time ago that I didn't want to live in a lack mindset. Now, I have many goals + dreams that God has placed within me! And, I can see the end goal of each one of them every time I close my eyes. Sure doubt may come, but then I come back to my senses 😆... Y'all know I believe that what God has for me is set aside just for me. That's just how my faith works! It's unrelenting in that way. As I compete to become the next Top Host (@vote.tophost) with @iheartradio + @ryanseacrest, I see myself sitting across from this man having the BEST conversation. I see myself creating a series of beautifully-themed conversations + chats with five people whose stories simply have to be shared with the world! If you can see me doing this, too, take a second to vote for me to move to the next round of the competition! My profile voting page is linked in my bio! Again, thanks for everyone who voted thus far. I moved from no. 16 (out of 35) to no. 5 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾💕✨ and I could not be more honored that you all believe in ya girl the way that you do! The @bwplinc hosted @lexiontheshow, @sistaafya, @melanated.mommies and I for a panel about our experiences working in the public sector (with @maysweets506 moderating) and a special moment to @taylorfor20th and everyone’s fave mentor, Ms. Creola Kizart-Hampton thanks to @reeselafrances! BWPL, thank you for letting us share our stories: stories of why the work we do is important, stories of how we are bridging gaps, and every day anecdotes from the field. In this climate, it was a huge act of defiance and righteous indignation to host this event with a tone of Black resilience, Black excellence, and the laughter of Black joy that so easily filled the room! —@sincerelytyra 💎💕 SINCERELY, TYRA CURATES BLOGS, REELS + PODCASTS ABOUT CONFIDENCE, FASHION, STYLE, POETRY + FOLLOWING GOD’S GRACE. A few months ago, my friend Lauren asked me to participate in a “A World of OppHERtunities” Networking Soiree with Black Women’s Professional League @bwplinc as a panelist. Of course I said yes! Y’all know I love a good, empowering moment for Black women to talk about careers, entrepreneurial accomplishments, challenges and everything in between! Sadly, a few weeks or so before the event, @abcnews reported that some 318,000 Black women had been pushed out of the public sector through insane budget cuts and layoffs that I’m sure our nation will soon regret. Many of us carried the thought of 318K women, mothers, sisters, friends, and caretakers who would undoubtedly be looking for new opportunities in career or to scale small businesses as a new source of their main income. Personally, I’m praying full restoration, increased favor with decision makers, and enlarged territories over their income, and peace and health within their households! The @bwplinc hosted (left - right) @lexiontheshow, @sistaafya, @melanated.mommies and I on a panel about our experiences working in the public sector (with @maysweets506 moderating) and a special moment to @taylorfor20th and everyone’s fave mentor, Ms. Creola Kizart-Hampton thanks to @reeselafrances! Huge shout out to all of our SiStars who helped to organize the evening and the audience (they were so engaging)! Looking forward to serving with a new cohort of dope women come Fall 2025! @bwplinc’s mission is to support the professional advancement of Black women by expanding our members network, enhancing their leadership skills, increasing their business brand awareness, and creating opportunities for them to make a social impact. #chicago #blackgirlmagic #whenqueenslink #nonprofit #publicsectorjobs #blogger #explore #explorepage #fyp #ootd

Y’all know I love when there’s a safe space for a group of Queens to link and talk about their careers and businesses! But, imagine my delight when my homegirl Lauren invited me to participate in the next @bwplinc event as a panelist! ☺️ To me, the idea “as strong as the woman next to me” means that, in friendships and sisterhood, we know how to support and encourage one another with grace and care. Between this year’s @bwplinc theme and the lineup, I cannot wait to hear what the other women have to share about their experiences learning and serving in the workplace. The Sistars have planned a beautiful event on Wednesday, August 13 at 6:00 pm! Hope to see you there! 💡 Missed early bird tickets? No worries: Use code BWPL10 for $10 off General Admission OR Use code BOGOFRIEND to buy one, get one free when selecting 2 tickets. —💎💕 #bwpl #chicago #blackwomen #fyp #explore #motivation #goals #career #careergoals #blackownedbusiness #nonprofitorganization #housing #mentalhealth #wellness #sincerely #sincerelytyra
