Brian Henry is “the artist” in my life. From tattooing @bhens , photography @wheresbhens , painting, drawing lines on snow or weaving his way around. The world. He drips with style and flow. His grandma and my mom were life long best friends. It’s been a pleasure watching him dedicate himself to his crafts and crush life. We usually hang tuff at the burn )🔥( but got to spend some long overdue time at his place in Col#shibori orado this winter. He just arrived in Cali we saw his grandma (my auntie Evie 93) and we’re hanging now so I’ll get off my phone. Love u brother 🤟

Twenty years ago, I picked up a tattoo machine with no idea where this journey would lead. Today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for every person who trusted me with their story, every client who sat in my chair, every friend and family member who believed in me, and everyone who has supported me along the way.

Tattooing has given me so much more than a career. It’s taken me around the world, introduced me to incredible people, created lifelong friendships, and allowed me to spend my life doing something I truly love.

To everyone who’s been part of these last 20 years—thank you. Your trust has shaped not only my work but my life. I’m beyond grateful for this craft and excited for everything still to come.

Here’s to the next chapter.

How would you guys like to come to my painted into the light gallery and take a class on wet on wet oil techniques. I’ve only done this with close friends so it’ll be a learning experience for me as well. For the first couple classes I would like to have my Artist friends who are experienced in painting. Possibly in the future doing a beginner class as well. Will have a date soon.

This summer I had the honor of attending @e.c.baugh last art class in Barcelona Spain. I cannot express the gratitude I have for this experience. I have looked up to him for so many years and to be able to learn some his techniques and just to watch him paint was a blessing. The class was on movement and edges and we had the amazing @mariamartinmartos_flamenco dance for references for our class, I was able to shoot my own photos to paint the following day, if you scroll you can see the references I chose. Felt so good to get out of my comfort zone and be more loose since I am a very structured perfectionist 🙃. Thank you Casey for this memory I won’t forget. This trip was the first I have ever made for my creative side and not just for an adventure and will NOT be my last. I encourage everyone to take an art class, travel to paint or just take a hike in the woods and paint somewhere beautiful. This trip filled me with so much joy and inspiration and have already been painting more. Thanks to everyone I met that made this trip so special.
