@thesilvertitaniumlife @whew_silver Five or is it 6 years ago?? silver hair brought the three of us together. What started as a shared journey of embracing our natural grey has grown into a friendship I truly treasure.

Today these beautiful women spoiled me as we celebrated my 60th birthday with gorgeous flowers, laughter that never seemed to end, singing, endless conversations, drinks by the river, a little shopping, and a delicious meal on a perfect sunny day.

It’s amazing how something as simple as embracing our authentic selves can lead to friendships that feel like they’ve always been meant to be. I’m so grateful for these incredible women and the memories we continue to make together. 💐❤️✨

If I look extra tired these days, just blame the Blue Jays 😂 Late nights, nail-biting innings, and now rolling into the office like “yes, I’m functioning… kinda.”

Three and a half years since I said no to my next salon appointment. Looking back it was an easy decision and an uncomfortable process. Thanks to my silver sisters on here who held my hand virtually and helped me to the finish line!

Also, it’s been a while since I re-introduced myself. So here are 14 random facts about me:

1. I was born in the Philippines.🇵🇭
2. I moved to Canada in 1997, 3 months after getting married. So my husband and I practically started our family here. All our 3 adult kids were conceived and born in 🇨🇦.
3. I am an introvert. But IG is teaching me to get out of my comfort zone. 🥰
4. I am the only girl and the youngest among 5 children.
5. I strength train 4x a week.
6. I am 5’2”, a “fun” size as my kids call petite girls. 😊
7. I am 107 lbs but trying to gain more lean muscle mass so I’m expecting to gain weight and I’m cool with that.💪✨
8. I’m a Type A personality. #IYKYK 😍
9. I know how to swim but scared of the deep because I never learned how to tread. My hubby has given up on teaching me.😅
10. I love tulips.🌷🌷🌷
11. I love to cook and bake. 🎂🧁🥮
12. My favorite gelato flavor is pistachio. 🍦
13. I have a degree in Computer Science. I was a Software Engineer in my early career. I now work as a Sr. IT Project Manager for a financial company.
14. I plan to retire by age 55.

When I stated my silver sister journey little did I know that nine months later I’d be heading to Niagara on an overnight trip to meet women I’d only met on the internet!! Turns out I need them more than they’ll ever know!! ❤️🩶❤️🩶

When I started out I thought I’d be wearing hats and headbands more than I do but I honestly don’t feel the need. It just feels natural and it feels right!!

I love that you don’t know what you’re gonna get!! Everyone’s journey is so unique and different!! I love and miss these ladies so much already!! Watching these videos and pics on repeat makes my heart smile!!

Whether it’s hair colour or any other choice we make in this life, as long as it’s not hurting anyone the only approval that really matters is our own!

I think it’s so much fun to see all the grey hair variations. I just came from a Silver Sister Meet up. Take a look at their unique beautiful silver patterns. There will never be 2 silver heads the same. A colour that you’ll never find in a box and even on the same head the patterns continue to change as we age. I’m excited to see mine whiten over time.
