Five years ago, I became part of the Silver Sisters community, never imagining the friendships it would bring into my life.

This weekend, I had the joy of celebrating Tammy’s 60th birthday in beautiful Ottawa.

We wandered through the city, explored hidden corners, laughed, shared stories, and made memories I’ll treasure.

It reminded me that friendship isn’t measured by how long you’ve known someone. Sometimes it’s about finding people who simply get you, lift you up, make you laugh, and make you feel like you’ve known them forever.

Happy 60th, Tammy! Thank you for giving us a reason to celebrate you, and thank you both @totallytammyk @thesilvertitaniumlife for a weekend filled with laughter, connection, and joy.

@thesilvertitaniumlife @whew_silver Five or is it 6 years ago?? silver hair brought the three of us together. What started as a shared journey of embracing our natural grey has grown into a friendship I truly treasure.

Today these beautiful women spoiled me as we celebrated my 60th birthday with gorgeous flowers, laughter that never seemed to end, singing, endless conversations, drinks by the river, a little shopping, and a delicious meal on a perfect sunny day.

It’s amazing how something as simple as embracing our authentic selves can lead to friendships that feel like they’ve always been meant to be. I’m so grateful for these incredible women and the memories we continue to make together. 💐❤️✨ by @whew_silver

Four years have passed since we said goodbye to my beautiful mom, but memories of her continue to fill our hearts every day.

As a grandma, she brought so much warmth and joy to our family, creating memories that we cherish deeply.

Today was such a beautiful day! I had to be outside. I walked a lot and admired all the leaves that had fallen and were like a blanket on the trail. The sun warmed up the chilly air. It truly was a perfect day. I hope you are having a great weekend.

Today I celebrate my 60th birthday. Yes, this is 60!!!

Recently I’ve asked myself if I would have changed anything about my life. And my answer is no. I’m blessed with 3 amazing children, their partners and 3 fabulous grandchildren.

Without question I know I haven’t always made the best choices but believe me I’ve learned from them.

These 60 years have brought me right here. Right now. And you know what I love where I am in my journey of discovering what it feels like to be 60. It is truly amazing.

About last night… @gigi_goes_grey and I met for dinner. She is amazing. So kind, lovely and talented - Yes she made this gorgeous Openly Grey mug. We talked about how, through IG, we found this incredible community of silver sisters. We both agreed that the women are so supportive and encouraging. I believe that the connections we all make here allow us to uplift and empower each other. Keep connecting. Keep uplifting and empowering each other. Make it a beautiful day!
