I Will Be Fine
by Bettina Someros-Ching

A young man adjusting to life with limited vision, Steven is determined to prove he can handle independence on his own. After passing his driving test, a routine day takes an unexpected turn when a simple challenge becomes a dangerous decision. With humor, heart, and the support of his friends, Steven learns that true independence doesn’t always mean doing everything alone. The film proudly features cast and crew with disabilities.

Spent the weekend helping others pursue passions while also fiiling my own cup.
.
Thank you @luckietwelve for giving me my first production assistant opportunity! I think I rocked it as the moon light.
I look forward to lending a helping hand in the future.
.
(Not pictured) saturday was spent getting the VW ready for Bonneville!
.
After a tiny bit of sleeping in Sunday, met up with some wonderfully creative friends and ladies at @glasshead_studio for some fused glass action!
Then went with the hubs to figure out a new camp pack system and settled on some Craftsman contractor pack out cases. Talk about an upgrade!
.
Thank you to everyone I met and everyone who made this weekend memorable. 🥰 I needed it

Still getting butterflies after this year’s EDFC Awards Night @sonypictures 🌟

Being able to not only act in this film, but also step into the role of associate producer and marketing, made this experience even more meaningful. I’m so honored and grateful that our film was selected as a finalist among so many talented creatives and storytellers across the globe ✨

More than anything, I’m proud to have been part of something that continues to raise awareness, create representation, and give space for stories that truly matter. It was also incredibly special to be able to represent the Philippines throughout this experience, especially while wearing a beautiful Filipiñana by @noblecreations.us 💖🇵🇭

A huge thank you to the incredible @iwillbefine.mp4 team for making all of this happen and for trusting me to be part of such a special project. And thank you to the Easterseals @disabilityfilmchallenge for continuing to create a platform that empowers filmmakers and shines a light on voices that deserve to be heard.

My heart is so full from this entire experience — from meeting so many talented creatives to sharing this journey with such an amazing cast and crew. So much love and gratitude to everyone who supported us along the way (you know who you are, and we’ll forever remember your support)

Huge shoutout to my parents, friends, relatives, and the various media publications that continued to give visibility to our story. Eternally grateful to all of you!

We had many amazing entries this year and our colleagues in the film challenge put out strong pieces! We are honored to be among them and to have the opportunity to tell our story. Thank you Easterseals @disabilityfilmchallenge for the amazing work you do to give my community a platform and welcoming us to the tableS#. To our beautiful, hard working team, thank you for your entrusting and sharing your precious time outside of work with us! You all contributed to such an awesome project that we will cherish forever! #disabilityfilmchallenge #disabilityawareness #finalist #

This journey wouldn’t be the same without you. Now here’s a little something we made with love—another music video, just for you. 😉 #IWillBeFine @disabilityfilmchallenge
