On October 1-2 Flair Fashion held “Re-Defining Luxury”, an exciting Pop-up Event at The Lab E20, in London shaping the future of Fashion Industry.

There is still a fever in my body, but I am getting better every day 😍

Hope you are healthy too 🌹🌹🌹

I have had a high fever, dreaming about food, all sorts of food. Sometimes my thoughts were not completely rational, bringing me back to fettuccini alfredo, a dish I used to et in New York when I was younger.

When you are sick and isolated, you food is reduced to what you can produce your self. And this is what I had a few days ago, when the fever was at its worst.

In some parts of the world, this could be called #katiroll but I am not sure it qualifies. It is more like my special omelet with a #potato #tortilla😍😍

Any way, It all went down and I went back to sleep.

I think I’ll call this barcode stew (swipe to see what I mean). 🤡

I am channeling my inner @notoriously.nicole.rd here…

Every single thing in this stew had a barcode on it… the canned beans, the chorizo, the lean ground beef, canned fire roasted tomatoes, the frozen bagged spinach

How about we stop this bull🐂sh*t💩 about avoiding foods that have a label, barcode, come in a bag or a box…

Pretty much all the food we eat has been processed in some way.

All of these foods are pretty god damn nutritious plus these foods can be cheaper and a great way to pack in more nutrient dense foods without the higher price tag

I’m not telling you how to eat but I am telling you that if you walk around spewing crap like this you may be deterring someone from buying foods such as the ones noted here because if they can’t afford (or find) fresh, or want to take the time to cook beans from their dried state (but also actually those come in a bag right whoops 😬 ) etc they may decide they shouldn’t have these foods at all.

Yes, the bulk of our diet would ideally come from minimally processed whole foods, rich in lean proteins and plants but telling people to avoid anything processed is harmful, completely unnecessary and will cause stress for no reason.

None of these foods are bad. No foods are bad. In my opinion if we can get people to eat more plants, fiber and protein, that’s a win. Those inner aisles have plenty of nutrient dense foods that have barcodes and labels *gasp*.

I’m not telling you how to eat but what I am telling you is don’t make people feel bad for choosing cheaper, more convenient and attainable options.

Also also - If you have a medical reason to avoid a certain food that’s a different story but apart from that you never need to avoid ANY FOOD (well maybe if it’s fallen on the floor, gone off/rotten or ya just don’t like it)
