Cinnamon Bun Baklava ✨

Every so often my "food brain" gets a light bulb moment💡and invents something cool.

In honour of #worldcinnamonbunday I created this fusion concept of cinnamon bun baklava.

I've used layers of crushed pecan nuts with cinnamon, phyllo pastry brushed with nutty browned butter, and poured homemade cinnamon syrup over the whole thing. Finally I decorated with Swedish pearl sugar.

It's probably no secret that I'm obsessed with boards of all kinds - often with a lot of emphasis on cheese and berries, and this one is no exception 🫐🧀

I made this for brunch for my family over the weekend, and i find it really therapeutic to mess around and getting creative with patterns and colours, while blasting my speakers in the kitchen - definitely one of my happy places! 💃

We absolutely demolished this board!
Brb just going out to get some more manchego and gruyère real quick to keep feeding my obsession... 🏃‍♀️

From complete bachata beginner in December to stage performance in May was a wild ride, and I'd do it again in a heart beat 🥰

Swipe for the gala, rehearsals and some of the fun we've had on the way (my cheeks have been hurting from laughter after every training session 😁).

Pimped up noodles 🍜

I find noodles to be the unassuming foundation of the category "dinners that can't really go wrong".

Boil your noodles, fry them up with whatever you want - sauces, veggies, nuts, bolts, flowers (idk 🤷‍♀️)...the point is, it's REALLY hard to f*** up and you're gonna leave the dinner table with a happy belly.

I used today's combination of hanger and general lack of dinner inspo and went for this safe card with gochujang, soy sauce, ginger, steak slices, eggs and spinach, and all it took was 15 mins ✨️

Creamy Tuscan Chicken 🍝

Time to walk the walk (feed post) and not just talk the talk (stories) for the first time in a while!
This blushing beauty marries sundried tomatoes with Italian herbs, fresh spinach (hello and goodbye half a bag) and lots of creaminess. Fittingly, i learnt recently that it's also called Marry Me Chicken. And frankly, i get it 🥰

Falafel nr 1 at home 🌯

Not the first time I pay tribute to Malmö's legendary Falafel Nr 1 by using their recipe, but probably the best it's turned out so far. Finger-lickin'!

Philly Cheesesteak 🧀🍖

It's been so long since I posted that I'm not sure I remember how to do 😅 but this wonderful item on my food bucket list deserves its own space in the grid. So happy I managed to get hold of cheez whiz to make it as authentic as possible, and i think maybe I...nailed it? I had it for my new year's lunch and I couldn't have ended the year on a higher note 😍

I don't really do new year's resolutions, but maybe I could make an exception and say...more cheesesteaks? Perhaps this could replace the January juice cleanses @notoriously.nicole.rd

Browned Butter and Coffee Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪

If you watched my story a few weeks ago you'll already have seen me rave about these cookies, they're seriously the best I've ever had and I've already made them 4 times in the last few weeks!
