Upcoming Exhibition: The Client Is Dead – Graphic Design as Autonomous Practice Opening: May 8 at 5:00 p.m. with a design raffle 🍸 Artists: Constanze Kohlhaas, Eva Richter, Lara Sharleena Böhm, Lion Sauterleute, Maxim Tur, Tamara Knapp, Teresa Schönherr, Tristan Huschke, Vincent Brod Graphic design is rarely created for the white cube – it works on streets, screens and in magazines. Yet designers are increasingly moving beyond the confines of a standard brief to develop their own narratives at the intersection of applied and independent practice. This exhibition explores the conditions under which graphic design becomes suitable for exhibition – and views it as a cultural practice situated between everyday life and the exhibition space, functionality and autonomy. #TBT : Last weekend, Casino Luxembourg once again had the opportunity to actively participate in @luxembourgartweek, attracting collectors, art lovers from all walks of life, culture enthusiasts and partygoers both inside and outside its walls. The event kicked off on Friday with the official opening night, renamed "Athletes of the Heart" this year. The curation was led by @agnesgryczkowska, curator of the "Theatre of Cruelty" exhibition, @_g_a_l_r x @transatlantic.earth, and Casino Luxembourg. The evening brought together artists @icedlattina, @whitegauna ft. @urge2bite, @katarinagryvul, @blackhaine and @nexus_daband (@b4mba & @mooquidi) on stage, all of them renowned for their intensity and atypical, uncompromising live presence. Each set and each performance brought its own emotional charge, adding to the whirlwind of sound where doom opera, lyrical singing and contemporary dance met with thunderous BPMs. The next day, we slowed the pace with an art talk at the Luxembourg Art Week fair. @actioncristea and @vincentschneider__, curators of the "€AT" exhibition, presented new approaches to supporting artists, notably through the production of art editions available online - a dynamic referred to by "€AT", currently running until 8 February 2026. 📷 1-7 @bohumil_kostohryz / 8-10 @sophiemarguephotography #casinoluxembourg #forumdartcontemporain #luxembourgartweek #law #athletesoftheheart #€at

Dark Oxygen is an experimental knitwear collection I developed during my fashion master’s at @udkfashion . The project is inspired by the groundbreaking scientific discovery of “Dark Oxygen”: oxygen produced without photosynthesis. My collection is set in a video-game in which scientists and divers are sent to the deep sea to harvest dark oxygen and secure humanity’s survival. My knitted outfits equip the players by providing protection, disguise, and adaptation against the harsh conditions of the deep sea. This storyline forms the framework for an immersive world for my master’s collection. A safe space where the rules of the conventional fashion industry don’t apply. With my sculptural knitwear, I question beauty standards and body ideals, while combining digital technology with traditional craftsmanship. Knitting becomes a world generator: here, fashion is more than clothes. It is a building material of an environment. Thanks to everyone involved.
