I’m an average hunter. Scout, shoot, tune, and yes, hunt when I can.

Finally got home with daylight and was able to get the last round in checking my @warheadarrowco Exothermic with @ironwilloutfitters SB 150 with bleeders.

3 consecutive shots right on ✅

Broadhead and knock tuning is tedious but I feel good having completed it. Components like @aaearchery vanes and the @ironwilloutfitters fixed blades only make it easier.

Gear up tomorrow night and my first hunt is Saturday AM.

Nor Easter has come and gone here on the island. It definitely got the deer on the move and looking for some relief from the wind and rain.

This rope has been out for 4 seasons always getting fresh @rackgetterscents2.0 pre orbital paste around end of July. That’s it.

Natural deer interactions do the rest.

@moultrieproducts ORIGINAL Edge cell camera still holding strong.

Trust @moultrieproducts to be there when you can’t.

Greg @bowhunting_fiend breaks down deer movement in this short clip

If you find the deer sign that’s great. Learning how to read it and more importantly….WHY there?

As well as Reps from companies
@trophy_ridge
@psebows

Of course products from @rackgetterscents2.0 were front and center on the @tenringarcheryli table

Stay tuned as I keep unrolling footage from the day.

What will the @moultrieproducts Edge cameras pick up this season?

Very happy I tried @moultrieproducts a few years ago for my first cell camera. I never looked back.

I still run all the original Edge platforms and they all work flawlessly.

Connect easily 📶
EXCELLENT battery life 🔋
Amazing photo and video quality even in low light scenarios

Combine that with all the accessories available, the new “Pro” series cameras with updated features and awesome customer service.

It’s that time of year again

Wax @gas.bowstrings on the ‘ol @psebows

The garage is in full prep mode for the season.

Second day of shooting since last FALL.

Making a solid effort to shoot more frequently before October 1.

The ‘ol @psebows is still kicking and the @warheadarrowco Exothermic 300 spines are doing their job.

That’s one of the best parts about archery. Can’t blame anybody but yourself.

I will not win any TAC events but the groups are getting tighter and that’s all I’m looking for.

Summer Prep Day 3

Fourth stand set.

No affiliation, but @xopgear has been the only stand and sticks I trust.

✅ quality parts built to last
✅ light enough to keep it mobile

I have high hopes for this set.

It’s locked In AND literally locked in because after all it’s still public land.

Time to shoot the bow.

Summer Prep Day 2

Hot and humid morning in the woods

All @moultrieproducts are now up and running. That gives me 7 active cameras and one in the truck as a backup.

3 hang on stands are still locked down and secure. I finalized the position of my last @xopgear hang on. Going to get that in the tree as soon as possible.

Got a lot done on these two trips. This patch of woods I’m in has honestly been a struggle but I’m committed to figuring it out because I know what walks through here during the season.
