We all have things we struggle to let go of. Things we know aren’t good for us, but somehow we keep holding on.

This song is about surrendering those things to God and inviting Him into the areas of our lives that need His help.My prayer is that it encourages you to do just that.
•
Huge thank you to producers @justinradfordmusic and @brandon_pair for helping bring this song to life!
Available now on all streaming platforms! Link in bio! Go listen, share it with somebody, and let me know what you think! 🫶🏽

Detroit wasted NO time switching seasons. 😂🍂
•
But I can’t even be mad… fall has always been my favorite. Give me the layers, the boots, and a crisp fall day. 🤎

Yesterdays Creator Summit presented by @sntc.events | @socialnthecity

The room was full of creators. Some came to teach, some came to learn, but everybody came to connect.

I had some dope conversations, met some amazing people, learned some things and hopefully poured into a few people along the way.

I think rooms like this are always better when you enter them with a spirit of service. Not just asking, “What can I get from being here?” but “What can I add while I’m here?” Who can I help? What can I share? What conversation can I have that might push somebody else forward?

The creator economy is growing every day, and Detroit deserves to be a major part of that conversation. This city has influenced fashion, music, art, culture and creativity for generations. The world has always taken something from Detroit. Now it’s on us to make sure the creators behind that influence are seen, connected and able to build from it.

Yesterday was a reminder that there’s a lot of talent in this city. We just gotta keep getting in the room, building with each other and creating our own opportunities.

Detroit creates. The world watches. 🏙️

You are art. Not becoming it. Already it.

I Am Art is a Loving Wombs experience made for Black women to remember who they are. It’s not a performance. It’s a room full of women who look like you, real professionals sharing tips that actually work for your hair, your presence, and time to just be witnessed and celebrated exactly as you are.

Just women, community, and a reminder that the way you carry yourself, your walk, your hair, your style, your energy, is already a masterpiece.
You’ll leave with new tools, new connections, a photo to remember it by, and a goodie bag full of love.

📍 The Sisters Couch, Detroit @thesisters_couch
🗓️ Sunday, October 18 | 2-4pm

Tickets are 15% off right now, for a limited time.
This is for the woman who forgot she was the art all along. Come remember with us.

💛 Scholarship donations accepted. If you’d like to sponsor a woman who couldn’t otherwise afford to join, that gift means everything.

Yesterday was a beautiful day celebrating family and accomplishment! ❤️📚🎉

We came together to support my nephew Dan at the book signing for his new book, Pay Now, Play Later, and we also got to celebrate his birthday! 🎂🥳

I love seeing family doing positive things, pursuing their goals, and creating something that can make an impact. Dan has two versions of Pay Now, Play Later for different age groups, making the message accessible to everyone.

Happy Birthday, Dan! 🎉

Congratulations on becoming a published author and bringing your vision to life. Wishing you nothing but continued growth and success!

Everybody go support Daniel and order your copy of Pay Now, Play Later today! 📚❤️

POV: I finally stopped hiding behind the mic stand👀
•
A few months ago, I posted a video saying how crazy it was that I could fly a whole airplane with no problem… but holding a microphone TERRIFIED me. 😂✈️🎤
•
Fast forward to this weekend and not only was I holding the mic, I was off the stage, walking through the crowd, greeting people at their tables like I’ve been doing this. 😂
•
It may seem small, but I can see the growth.
•
Turns out the mic and I just needed a little time. 😂#PilotBae #GospelArtist #IntendedUseOnly #GospelMusic #ArtistJourney
