What a moment from last night's @downtownithaca @beginnings_cu Summer Concert Series. @whoisfishig wanted to play chains on Busy My Sapde and it was perfect leading into the energy boost of the drop. @the_mathigram killed it on bass and we had a hell of a time. Thanks for coming out!!

UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lizdelise cannot make it to the 8/1 show, but fear not! We’ll be joined by multi-instrumentalist Oleg Kuksgauzen, who will be opening up the evening with a dreamy indie folk set, including tracks from his new album, Gate Along Path. ORIGINAL POST: 7/25: The Lawncert. 6018 Podunk Rd in Trumansburg, 4-9 pm. A brand new band for the Kristin Bigness solo project debuts! The celebration of @young_legs_band new EP, Warrens & Wyrmlings! A chance to see the incomparable @whistlindyl and Spice Rack! 8/1: @lizdeliseband from Philly joins @sunk.coast at the Cul-de-Snack. This is the last Sunk Coast show until October, and a RARE chance to see Lizdelise, coming all the way up from Philly. In case you missed the show announcement, Lizdelise is an experimental pop project based in Philadelphia. Their writing centers queer joy, embraces the inevitability of grief, and makes you shake your 🍑. Their work has been featured by Rolling Stone AU, NPR, Paste Magazine, the CW, and more. See our show announcement for a full bio, but needless to say — these are world-class artists playing in an intimate setting, right here in Ithaca at our place (DM for address) — BYOB, hang in the yard between sets, graze at the snack table, meet new friends and see old ones. It has been a privilege to know Lizzy and Mark for many years; they are some of the most exceptional musicians I’ve ever met and you will not want to miss this. 8/23 and 8/26: @jennie_lowe_ and I (Kristin) are BACK! It’s been too long and we’re excited to play Brooktondale Porchfest on 8/23. Then on 8/26 we’ll be up in Geneva at Billsboro Winery’s sweet spot on Seneca Lake, with the one and only Mary Lorson. Hope you’re all making the most of the summer and will spend some time singing and bopping with us. xoxoxo cc: @johnbueno @sarcaroline @hannimal_23 @sunwoodrecording @marylorson @whoisfishig @venissasanti

We’ve been discovering so many new independent, female-led, inclusive, queer, original bands across the country and the globe, thanks to the algorithm (for better & worse), and we wanna connect! Let’s support each other, near and far! NO AI MUSIC HERE—just human-made songs, raw talent, countless hours of rehearsals, hauling gear around, set ups and sound checks, and sweat in the streets. We live in Ithaca, NY, and we make a lot of music. Introduce yourself so we can support what you do. It’s a big world, and the more real original music we can fill it with, the better. Happy Saturday, Happy Juneteenth, Happy Pride Month, Happy Father’s Day, Happy Solstice! Don’t let the bastards get you down. There’s always a way to make stuff. ❤️ #indieband #womeninmusic #maddywalsh #womenwhorock #mutualsupport

It’s here!!! “Outrun the Smoke” is available TODAY everywhere you listen. 💝 Ever get sick of staying home and feel an undeniable NEED to get OUT?! We have a song for that. 🪩 Independent artists spend a lot of blood, sweat, and tears shepherding songs into being, and releasing each one is enormously cathartic. You’re free, Song! Go run around and play! #outrunthesmoke #indieband #womeninmusic #newmusic #maddywalsh

“Outrun the Smoke,” will be out everywhere tomorrow 5/29!!! (Technically tonight at midnight for you 🌙 🦉 types.) It’s cathartic as hell and be releasing this music, which we began recording in 2023. The human baby came right on time and is now pronouncing nine-syllable dinosaur names like “micropachysephelosaurus” with precision; the music baby took a little longer. You can find the Spotify pre-save link here in ze bayou. 🤓 Happy Ithaca Fest to all! See you Saturday from the Bernie Milton Stage at 6pm. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 #newmusic #recording #miami #newyork #moxyrock
