My first decorating collaboration 🥹 When Grace (@thehappilyhistorichome) saw my home on insta, she said, “We both love color. I think we could have a lot of fun together.” Aaaaaand she was right.

Over the last few months, we’ve been bringing her living room together through color, pattern, new pieces and plenty of antiquing.

Grace loves that classic Ralph Lauren, equestrian feel—but with an eclectic, collected twist. Nothing too precious or matchy-matchy, and most importantly, a room that can actually be lived in with a toddler and a very lounge-loving dog.

My favorite part? Grace trusted her own taste. She chose what she loved, I helped find the pieces/colors/patterbs to complement it, and together we made it all work. We ended up using things she already had most of the time!

Can’t wait to show you the rest. 🤎 #designbestie

if you’ve been following along, you know this room has been through it 😂 it started stark white when I moved in, then I painted it pink on a whim, and I ALMOST painted it green yesterday, but it just never felt right. I couldn’t focus, my eyes kept bouncing between the white and the stark contrasted colors, and the lighting somehow made it feel even darker

I fought everything in me not to go back neutral 😅 but landed on Spanish Lace—a rich, creamy white that reminds me of that soft afternoon beach light

I’m obsessed. All I need is some curtains and I’m good…. Probably. Most importantly, Honey approves!!🫶🏻
