They don’t see this part.

The measuring.
The double checking.
The details that make everything else work.

This is where the job is actually won or lost.

And it matters who’s doing it.

At Whole Heart Construction, we don’t hand your project off to subcontractors. You’re working with Corey and his crew the entire way through—from measuring, to ordering, to installation.

Because we genuinely care about the work, and about the people we’re doing it for.

No miscommunication. No shortcuts. Just a team that takes ownership from start to finish.

This is why who you hire matters.

A darker blue house. A yellow front door. Their wedding colors, brought home.

When Joey and Lauren bought their house, they loved its potential—but the inspection revealed siding, roofing and rafter-tail issues that needed attention.

They trusted Corey Harrison with Whole Heart Construction to take care of the details: repairing the roof and siding, addressing rotting porch posts, realigning gutters, replacing the back porch screening and lattice, and painting the exterior.

The result? A home that feels like theirs, with the repairs behind the transformation taken care of, too.

“He did everything that we asked him to do. He was on time, very easy to communicate with, very detailed.” — Joey King

Joey and Lauren, thank you for trusting us with your home. We’re proud of how it turned out—and grateful to hear how much you love it.

Traded the Carhartts for a tux last weekend. 😉 Enjoyed an evening at @antiquesgardensbham Gala with my beautiful date. So impressed by the talented designers and builders and the craftsmanship they bring to their work. Left with plenty of inspiration for our next project! taken in Birmingham Botanical Gardens by @wholeheartconstruction

Some projects are about more than construction — they’re about showing up for people when they need it most.

We recently had the opportunity to team up with Rock Solid Roofing & Renovations and Student Pastor Dalton from Faith Community Fellowship (@fcffamily.trussville) for a service project that may have felt small, but made a huge difference for a family we love.

These are wonderful friends of ours who have been walking through an overwhelming season, and we’re incredibly grateful we were able to step in, use the skills we’ve been given, and help lighten the load in a practical way.

At Whole Heart Construction, serving our community is a big part of why we do what we do. We’re thankful for good people, strong partnerships, and every opportunity we get to love on the people around us.

A little work can make a really big difference. 🧡 taken in Trussville, alabama by @wholeheartconstruction

Working with local realtor @listwithhicks to get this property ready for the market, and new windows were one of those upgrades that made sense both practically and aesthetically.

This is just a snippet of the process, but watch to the end to see how much the new windows make this home shine!

This Birmingham-area home was ready for more than a few cosmetic updates. The siding, shutters, and windows were showing their age, the fence needed repairs, and the existing deck was no longer working for the homeowners.

Whole Heart Construction completed a full exterior refresh, including:
• New siding
• Updated shutters
• Window replacement
• Fence repair
• New deck construction

The result? A cleaner, more cohesive exterior with improved curb appeal, better functionality, and outdoor spaces built to be enjoyed for years to come.

If your home needs new windows or doors, siding, a deck, exterior repairs—or you have one of those “can y’all do this?” projects—give Whole Heart Construction a call.

Four pictures. Same room. But once the light comes in, you can finally see what was always there.

Finished this one for my pastor a few weeks back. It’s his study. Where he reads, prepares, and spends time in prayer. Good work was already happening in that room. It just needed to be opened up.

And that part took some work.

Careful measuring, tearing out what was there, setting it right, making sure everything lined up the way it should. It’s not complicated, but it’s not nothing either. You don’t rush it if you want it to last.

But here’s the thing. All that effort wasn’t to create the light.

The light was already there. The trees, the sky, all of it. Didn’t take any work at all to make that. All we did was make a way to see it.

Feels a lot like time in the Word. Showing up, staying steady, doing the work to make room. Not to manufacture anything, but to see clearly what’s already true. The Lord’s glory isn’t something we build. We just need our view opened up to it.

That’s what this one felt like to me.

Good, honest work. Glad I got to do it.
