POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What happens to a group of men when we take a pause from life to spend time together in the wilderness?

Our nervous systems get a chance to finally slow down.

Our spirit gets restored through the magic of adventure and the beauty of nature.

We learn to trust ourselves in a deeper way by having to be self-sufficient, with limited supplies.

And most importantly, we get a rare opportunity to see ourselves more clearly, without the distractions of modern life.

—

All of this and more happened for us at this July’s Men’s Rewild Canoe Retreat.

And while there were moments of feeling tired after long days of paddling, battling swarms of bugs on portages, and getting soaked on our day of rain… we wouldn’t have it any other way.

—

During emotional processes, we cried hard.

Moments later, we laughed even harder.

We all learned things about ourselves, including from each other.

And we all took home a deeper relationship with nature, a stronger inner connection with ourselves, and more.

This is the power of men’s work in the wild.

This is what it means to rewild ourselves.

Canoe Curious Trip, Father Son Rites of Passage and @olympiaosc were some of our guests this past week!

This place has quickly evolved into something we’ve been dreaming it to be.

…different launguages spoken, laughter, decade long traditions being upheld. A meeting place for connection and adventure.

Have you made time for nature this summer? 🌲

Most men think the backcountry is physical.

The truth is, the growth lies in the mind & soul.

A trip into the wild focused on growth and connection holds infinite possibilities.

The courage to step into the unknown is already a step towards your goals.

Be it grit, gratitude, peace, perspective, brotherhood, or backcountry skills - immersed in nature, the wild always offers you what you want and gives you a generous dose of what you need.

It’s both a trust fall into yourself and into a pack of other powerful men. It’s ancient and it’s real.

Out here we don’t survive, we thrive.

Have I prepared my son for the world?

Once, this answer was lived — through challenge, guidance, and transformation.

Not just strength, but responsibility.
Not just growth, but becoming.

Maybe we don’t need something new.
Maybe we just need to remember.

Looking for an adventure designed to strengthen the bond between Father and Son? Join us July 9-12 or August 28-31 for a modern day rite of passage canoe trip.

Men who haven’t unlearned the scripts shaped by p🌽rn and culturally normalized s3x often carry unprocessed shame and tension in their bodies. That unresolved imprint makes it difficult to deepen into real intimacy.

Our s3xual culture is transactional by nature. It’s designed to sell, not to foster depth, presence, or connection.

Men who begin to wake up from this conditioning tend to embody a few key qualities:

1. He is comfortable talking about s3x and leads with curiosity:

Rather than guessing, performing, or staying silent, he understands that intimacy requires honest, ongoing communication.

2. He has stepped away from p🌽rn and rebuilt a healthy relationship with pleasure:

Quitting p🌽rn is important, but healing goes further. A man must relearn his body through conscious, respectful self-connection.

3. He is actively engaged in his healing:

Through therapy, counselling, or men’s work, he takes responsibility for processing his emotional and s3xual history.

4. He has mature men he can speak openly with about s3xuality:

Men heal best with other grounded men. Honest reflection replaces exaggeration, comparison, and silent shame.

5. His relationship to s3x is evolving and rooted in connection:

When a man releases the chase and the outcome, he discovers that what he was truly seeking was connection all along.

If this speaks to your journey, and you feel stuck, stunted, or ashamed in your sexual life, know that healing is possible.

I’ve created a video course with @wholesome.guide designed to guide men through exactly this process.

It works whether you’re single or in a relationship.

Some incredible shots from our recent men’s trip.

This is a group of guys who already knew each other through our men’s group, which meant we felt safe to go deep.

We opened up, laughed, cried, told stories, explored the wilderness, and held one another emotionally and spiritually.

What a special way to bond.

Thanks to @joshdavisimages for capturing the magic of this expedition.

Shout out to Ella and Chris from @driftwoodpaddle - it’s such a gift to do this work with you two.

Here’s to many more trips!

P.S. If you’re a high-performing man and could benefit from the support of other good guys around, reach out. We have some spots open in our groups.

Some memories from the second half of summer 🌞

Earlier this year I chose a new path for my career and life.

I’d had enough of sitting inside all day.

I felt the call to adventure within.

And I decided to answer.

It was time to become a backcountry guide.

—

I remember back in 2023 when I first launched my coaching business, my good friend @chef_gray was helping me with my marketing.

He asked “what would be your absolute dream experience to offer a coaching client?”

Without hesitation, I said: “Taking them out for a multi-day trip in the backcountry so they can remember who they really are.”

Well, here we go.

—

Over my month of learning to guide at @driftwoodpaddle this summer, I went on 4 trips:

1. A father and his teenage son
2. A father and his 8 and 9 y/o daughters
3. Two men, aged 68 and 78 (absolute beasts!)
4. I went on a massive 3-day solo trip that challenged me to grow in so many ways

These trips changed my life.

I gained a wealth of skills.

My physique transformed.

I found a form of peace that I knew as a teenager, but had long forgotten.

—

Now, along with my good friends @loubelleau and @truenatureguidance, I’m building a leadership agency, @pointofcontact.global.

Our intention is to help executives, startups, and whole teams and companies slow down, reset their nervous systems, and learn how to take better care of themselves and each other.

There’s no question that the backcountry helps us to embody these lessons.

—

Over the next 2 months I’ll be attending and hosting 6 retreats and trainings to help me learn from great teachers and hone my skills.

I’m incredibly excited, and deeply grateful.

Here’s to being a wholesome guide 🙏🏼
