A little Electric Picnic magic ✨🌙

Somewhere between the professional rock star photos, the backstage shenanigans, the rain, the ridiculous outfits and the “how is this actually my life?” moments… there was a whole lot of magic. 🪄

Still slightly convinced I woke up in a Stevie Nicks fever dream and nobody has had the heart to tell me. 😂

What a weekend. What a band. What a beautiful, bonkers little world to be part of. 🖤✨

📸 The ridiculously talented @mikeyaldridge & some very questionable backstage evidence 🤣

Until next time, Electric Picnic… keep the moonlight on. 🌙

Excellent few days at the @galwayfilm with SCGI members contributing significant work in both the feature and shorts programs (see link in stories). Great to see so many composers there representing their work. This morning we had a joint networking event with @writersguildireland and @screenproducersireland

Another dream collaboration with the team at Miracle Pictures on the short film Lucy’s Boyfriend. Written by the incredibly talented John C. Creasy and directed by Zoe Gibney.
A real pleasure working on post with Neil, alongside an exceptional crew. Huge credit to editor Vincent McEntee, with Patrick Corr and Bill Pierce delivering beautiful work in grade and VFX. The final layer brought together seamlessly with a stunning mix by Aaron Faye and an original score by Kevin Whyms.
Proud to have been part of this one. Screening at galway fleadh on Saturday #galwayfilmfleadh #postproduction

Apparently this is my face when I’m having a blast in the studio 😂 Serious score talk with CFA 25/Dublin-based composer Kevin Whyms during his orchestra recording session. Thanks for sending me this pic Kevin - such a great @viffest 2025 week with you and the whole cohort/team! 👏🥰

An ode to Mike Garson’s solo on David Bowie’s song, the heart’s filthy lesson, from the outside album with Brian Eno. Will be doing the album in fall on Saturday in Whelan as part of the Dublin Bowie festival. Art Crim Inc.

An engaging composer panel with @screencomposersirl at @dublinfilmfestival . These industry events help get us lone composers out of our solitary workspaces for a bit of socialising! Great chats with vice chair and fellow board member @whymskevin and fellow guild member @duckrostico . Thank you @s_rennicks1952 , @anna.r.ice , @reuben_harvey_ and @philkierandj for sharing your insights and to @ruthmeehan for moderating 🎶 🎵 🎼🎹
