We interrupt our endless illustrated NBA content to bring you this announcement! Join me in NYC later this month for a talk I’ve been putting together about all that I’ve learned in my years of working in the animation industry. Both as a freelancer looking for work and as a director looking for artists to hire. I built the team that helped us finish the amazing NBA campaign from scratch and I’ve learned so much from that process. I’m very excited to share that knowledge with you all!

🎥 Cluster Project 🎥

These photos are from Scoil Mhuire National School in Newtownforbes during Production and Filming of their short film 'The Story of Critchey McCann'. These were the oldest and largest group (50 children) who worked really hard with me and came together to have all their shots finished! They also had a Huge cast of characters to create. See Critchey's wife and the judge in the photos! Aren't they class?? It is a huge feat that all three schools managed to finish enough footage to each create a finished piece of animated film!! 🙌🙌 APPLAUSE 🙌🙌 to these young Animators!

Top of the morning everyone.
From last Sunday, the week has been filled with so much sad news and deaths.
More distressing is the one of children, our hope, the leaders of tomorrow.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace and may the deaths of all the precious children not go in vain.
May we learn and avert these unnecessary deaths.
Checking through my photos and videos, I saw these images and thought to share and also to brighten my page and lift my spirits.

Last year during a three-day Children's Day celebration organized by SPAN, I facilitated and organized screening of African Animation short films of some of my friends and colleagues with the assistance of Ronya Man who was the SPAN contact.
Thousands of children across age groups and adults saw these films even though it was for a short time.
Our children really want to consume our content and they even want a dedicated African Cartoon and Children's programmes channel like Disney XD/ Disney Junior.

I hope and pray this will come to pass.
We can not fail them in age appropriate, educational and entertaining content from our continent.
