Craving authentic flavours from Trinidad? 🌶 Take the 401 to Wicked Carib on Vic Park—a local fave since 2020, serving up halal Indo-Caribbean cuisine

We tried:
👉 3 Doubles: $10.50
👉 Pulourie: $5.99
👉 Curry Goat Paratha Wrap: $18.99
👉 Jerk Chicken Plate + White Rice & Callaloo: $18.99

We started with Doubles, soft, pillowy flatbread packed with tender, curried chickpeas, and sweet, tangy tamarind. One's definitely not enough

The pulourie was light, airy, deep-fried split-pea dough ball perfect for soaking that tamarind chutney

The highlight was the Curry Goat, wrapped in a warm paratha—so tender, fragrant, and richly spiced

Huge plate of juicy jerk chicken came with a gentle kick, served with callaloo, white rice, and coleslaw. Gotta ask for extra gravy

This week we teamed up with @pennyappealca for a major Back to School backpack giveaway, sending 300 children off with backpacks full of school supplies and serving almost 400 plates of food to the families that came through. 🎒💚

A huge thank you to @pennyappealca for generously donating the backpacks, @wickedcarib for feeding the community with some amazing food, and @strizzzyeverywhere for helping make this all possible.
