“There is no tomorrow.”
~Apollo Creed~
So here we are, one work day away from the beginning of the Turkey 🦃 Tour. This hunt is 1 year in the making, by the time Bran and I figured out what we were doing it was the end of the season in Nebraska. He returned on the final days of the season and closed out his hunt in fashion. Buckle up, it’s gonna get rowdy!!! #springfashion #turkeyhunter #LFG #outdoorlife #iamsportsman #thetour #springbreak #adventure #gowest #nebraska #makingmoves

Blue jeans and Bobble Heads!

“We hadn’t planned on hunting today due to some chores but those plans quickly changed when we saw this bird working a group of hen’s. We didn’t have all our gear so we went back and got what we needed an after him we went. The wind was howling and he was tied in to them hens hard so we quickly set up ahead of them. Might I add when we grabbed gear I didn’t grab my camo bottoms so I was in a pair of blue jeans and my leafy camo top. We get set up and let the woods settle back in. After a few yelp sequences we had the interest of the hens he was after. These hens brought him in to about 50-60 yds and he stayed strutted in that spot for close to 30 minutes. He was strutting his stuff and we got to witness him breeding a hen through the brush. After he was done with her he came looking for the other hens. Once he found “sally” the decoy that was his last move. I rolled him up about 35 yds. I couldn’t move my right leg was asleep so after I shot him Huck had to run and grab him because my leg was limp and couldn’t go no where but to the tree. That was the first bird that I’ve personally killed in 10 years. I’ve had the opportunity to call for other people but hadn’t really done it since my grnadpa and myself doubled up shortly before he passed. Huck got me back fired up on the turkeys this season and today will be a day I won’t forget.” @huehiggy

Proud to have been able to call in this bird for you and create such a memory brotha!
