Sorry but how is it June? May went by in a flash because I was ill for half the month, and pretty darn busy for the other half! Not to be dramatic but Q1 may have been my favourite start to a year yet. Not because I was happy all the time and things were easy, but because: The projects I’ve booked have been completely aligned. My work was varied and exciting and I made awesome connections 🎉 I made moves to stay true to myself values like cancelling Spotify and continue to donate to Gaza Soup Kitchen. I’ve created art that I’m super proud of and my clients immediately benefited from. I’ve had one of my highest sales months. I’ve listened to my body, started working with a PT - the legend that is @ej.personaltraining_ and found balance with nourishing rest days. I’ve invested in professional photography of me doing my thing twice! Thank you @ohlovelymae and @thisisemilyjoan 😍 My social content has gone through the roof because it’s been bold and radically authentic. As always, very grateful to the dream team @paulinaf_solutions and @bizzybeebolly who keep me sane and organised 🙏🏽 And last but not least, I just feel really confident about what I’m doing and where I’m going 💪🏽 ✨ Q2 ✨ I have one space in May to create impactful Personal Brand Photography with a Founder, Creative or Organisation who’s excited dive into their next era of business. In a world where the word expertise has almost lost all meaning, how did I curate these absolutely stellar speakers for this year’s Brand Blitz? The number one thing i’ve heard since announcing the Brand Blitz has been “Omg, that lineup???” and…yeah. I know! 💅🏻 I knew I wanted experts who really are LEADERS. Who have been walking the walk and talking the talk and living the life because they know, deep down, in their bones, that their expertise is something we all need. They’re not just sharing their wisdom, they’re leading movements. And to have 7 of them in the same room is going to be nothing short of iconic. In other words…they’re a great CATCH 😏 We’ve got @xanthe.appleyard, who’s been combining & celebrating lifestyle and content since the get go @wordshurt.copy, who’s been unapologetically redefining authenticity and showing up as yourself @btlcopy, the main character for main characters who want writing that sounds like them @jesshellens of @wild_coworking, who champions community, seasonality and sustainable business ownership in a way I’ve never seen before @oliviabossert, who in an industry obsessed with how you look pioneered the idea that It Girls are a feeling @im.nadia.amer, who would rip up the rule book on sales and marketing if that wasn’t such an overdone phrase (instead she more…pisses on the playbook? Tears apart the terms and conditions?
