Evelyn woke up early and helped make banana buckwheat sourdough and frittatas. She’s such a sweet little helper.

@decant.hurleyville is finally open.

I am beyond grateful for this opportunity. Thank you @curious_nikita for your continuous trust in both my vision and my work.

And a HUGE shout out to the incredible local craftspeople and artists who helped me pull this off. This was truly a collaborative effort.

I hope this special place is enjoyed for many years to come🌟

Wanna see something cool?

Take a peek into the process of creating custom terra cotta pendant lights for @decant.hurleyville

It’s been lovely reconnecting to our handbuilding roots. It was the first pottery technique that I learned and while my practice has evolved I’ve been craving something a little bit slower and less brutal on my hand and wrists. 😵‍💫

Working on these large shapes have really allowed me to tune into a more meditative and contemplative state of mind. It’s been a real joy to explore and there is lots more to share.

Keep an eye 👀 on our stores. I’ll be posting more about this process there.

Home 🫶🏼 My day planner asks every week for my top three priorities. Lately I’ve been listing: Grace, patience, and peace. Not the typical list of: pay the bills, clean the house, grocery shop (although I do all of the above). This season is teaching me that if my mind, body, and spirit aren’t aligned with the priorities of the soul, the day is lost. Look first to the kingdom, right? My grace is sufficient, right? Whatever is true, lovely, pure, meditate on these things, right? And your day (your life!) will go well with you. Cheers to this new day, friends 🤍 #wearethehomemakers #thriftedhome #shelfie

Made a little raw key lime cake to use up some ingredients before we embark on our trip to Pennsylvania.

Completely raw/vegan/GF/zero refined sugar…

Ingredients are,

Lime zest
Lime juice
Coconut oil
Raw pecans
Raw cashews
Dates
Maple syrup
Oats
Vanilla

So good but we’ll never finish it before we leave 🤌🏻
