Hey first-year students and families, we enjoyed meeting all of you at @azengineering Admitted Student Day.

It was a great day of connecting. We explored the AME machine shop, student clubs and @edc_uofa – giving you a firsthand look at what it’s like to be part of AME. 🚀⚙️

We can’t wait to see you here soon. Welcome to AME and Bear Down, Wildcats!

In early December, AME welcomed prospective and admitted students to Engineering Experience Day 2025 hosted by @azengineering! It was great meeting so many of you at our table and chatting about your futures in aerospace and mechanical engineering.

We enjoyed showing you a firsthand look at life in AME, from connecting with our advisors and faculty to touring the AME building and research labs. We hope you also enjoyed exploring Craig M. Berge Winter Design Day where our senior capstone teams in aerospace and mechanical engineering showcased their projects in action.

It was wonderful connecting with all of you and thank you to everyone who made this day possible. Bear Down! 🐻⬇️

Hair up and safety glasses on! 💅✨

@arizona.fsae and @wildcatbaja hosted Women’s Shop Night (aka Ladies’ Night).

The event brought together women in engineering to learn and practice hands-on shop skills used in everyday mechanical engineering and design within a supportive environment.

Engineering students gained confidence and experience using the bench grinder, bandsaw, soldering iron and welder, guided by peers and mentors from Wildcat Formula Racing and BAJA.

The night was a huge success and helped enhance the strong community of women within engineering and in STEM
