It was such a pleasure to watch @heather_kerrison discover Las Terrenas all on her own last week.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Heather went down to meet up with our friend @bsimkova for some well-deserved time in the sun in one of our favorite places in the world. I'm so excited that Heather is finding her footing there and creating a community all of her own. The confidence that Heather puts forward in her own adventures and endeavors is incredibly inspiring.

Swipe to see some clips from our first trip to Las Terrenas together back in 2019! @wildmediaco @heather_kerrison

a round-up of the last few months with @were_d.pe, as we collaborated with influential and impactful artistic voices across the city, via @nowplayingtoronto and @destination_toronto.

With the latest offerings being @thepowerplantto, composer and producer @akamatisse, the twenty year return of ‘da Kink in my Hair with @soulpeppertheatre, CEO of @torontosymphony Mark Williams, Artistic Director and friend @umbereene for @tohistorymuseums, @art_toronto, @crowstheatre, and many more important storytellers.

A wonderful chance to reflect on the breadth and diversity of Toronto’s creative and cultural industries through thoughtful conversation and editorially-driven content.

We caught up with Adelina Vlas, The @thepowerplantto’s Head of Curatorial Affairs, as she shares why The Power Plant is an integral part of Toronto’s arts story.

Learn about how for 36 years, The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery has been immersing visitors in transformative visual works that offer dynamic perspectives and spark thought-provoking conversations.

Scenes from making memories with @heather_kerrison last week. It’s pretty special when one of your best friends finds a partner you click with, but even more special when you begin to grow an actual friendship that is so beautifully enriching, mutually supportive and leads to adventuring and dreaming together abroad. Cultivating new adult friendships can be so tricky, and I’m so lucky for the richness and support that Heather has brought to my life. To many more sunsets, pina coladas, business brainstorms, dog dates and adventures big and small. 👯‍♀️✨

Did I ever tell you about the time we found the Rambo statue by accident?!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cruising through Hope, British Columbia we stopped for a bite to eat and parked right in front of a huge wooden statue of Rambo @officialslystallone. We got a kick out of the Dyna Bros that turned up, hopped off their bikes, and strong-armed some tourists into taking their picture in front of the statue. Turns out they couldn't hang around long and were headed to a party at @lordsofgastown west of Vancouver. Without skipping a beat they yelled out "Gotta run!" before doing a burnout and peeling away. Ahhhh, the characters you see "on the road".
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Swipe to see Rambo in the flesh, or... bark, I suppose. Shot for @eaglerider while on the west coast of Canada.

Hero Branding.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I think it's powerful to envision yourself in the shoes of a subject and to be able to tell a relatable (and aspirational) adventure story through photos and video. My hope is that when you see my images, they convey an aspirational sense of wanderlust, and inspire you to dream up your next adventure. Whether you're looking for inspiration, reliving a place you've been too, or are ready to buy your next plane ticket... I'm here to help inspire you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's some new work for @pentictonecruise in Penticton, British Columbia! High above the escarpment of Canada's west coast wine region is a rail path that connects lake-country to over 100 wineries in the region. If I were going again, I'd rent these bikes from @pentictonekruise for the length of our stay. What a fun way to get around!

This month we learned what started as a way for @akamatisse — one third of the JUNO-award winning electronic group @keysnkrates — to continue to perform during the pandemic’s lockdowns turned into much more. A series that brought healing to not just the artist himself, but also those who attended.

@meghanyuriyoung explores akaMatisse’s upcoming show, offering an elevated experience called the LowKey Concert in a new setting, for @nowplayingtoronto.
