Elianie's video is dropping in less than 24 hrs 👀 so I thought I'd share a bit more about how that day came together! When I decided to shoot two 1-shot style videos, in the expansive Fremantle Town Hall, in a single day, the level of work needed was a bit of a mystery. The team grew in the blink of an eye and the snowball kept rolling faster and faster. We checked out the space countless times and our elaborate ideas kept on growing and growing. It didn't help that the songs got us bubbling with even more concepts, feelings and moods. We really struggled to reign ourselves in! I still couldn't quite tell if we were too big for our boots, so we threw everything into it! And with some incredible crew at the helm and some magnificent artists to capture, we pulled off some pure magic and had a lot of fun along the way! When they say it takes a village, it really is true. And man, what a bloody good village! And a special big thanks to Zoë and Nic for doing all the reigning in we needed, and for making it all possible! Stunning work from @wildredmedia as always 📷

|| THIS ONES’ A LITTLE EMOTIONAL || We celebrated 1 year of being married recently but often get asked how we actually came to be. It was a simple story turned complicated. We met each other when we were 8/10. We were simply best friends who began dating in high school and were inseparable from the moment we met. We spent every summer together, saw each other weekly, studied together, did music together & we’d make it so that we could see each other every single school holidays. When our families found out, they struggled with the change & we weren’t supported by many people in our lives. We were made to go our separate ways. It was hard & it was even worse being away from our biggest support systems which we had found in each other. Soon, our worlds became quiet - we didn’t wait for weekends, school holidays & playing music anymore. This remained like this for over 382 days (yes, we counted). It wasn’t until later that we were able to persevere & fight to be together. To convince everyone that this wasn’t just some “phase” or that we weren’t “too young” to have decided that we wanted to be together forever. Not many know this story. It’s the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do and face - often at times alone. Most friends we had told us to walk away, most counsellors we saught, told us to give up & most people we had met, simply didn’t understand. Jerome and I have been together for over a decade, we’ve built our little family from the bricks we created when we were simply children. The foundation we built was made on the soil of a few little glances, a shared love for faith and music & a simple mission that we had to make everyone feel loved & wanted. The day we got married was the biggest “we made it” moment we have ever experienced & it was the day our families became more united than ever. That’s what marriage is - two becoming one. The reason we fight for every couple, answer their calls no matter the hour & become their friends is because we never want them to feel alone. We know this feeling all too well. We want them to feel loved & wanted This is our MISSION🤍 Thank you @wildredmedia & @infinitumstudiosau for capturing us so beautifully
