POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Art can be the first step of starting a conversation that can change perspective toward our natural world [...] When I met Mark, it was an instant feeling of « aww » what a gentle and generous soul. A person you want (can have) endless conversation and sparks your curiosity.

I was a stranger, yet I felt welcomed and had the chance to see his world for a few days. Sometimes, I still have to pinch myself that my work as a documentary filmmaker and photographer allows me to have these experiences and spend my time discovering these stories. A lot of time is unclocked, but isn’t the point to lose track of time?🤭

Artisan, artists or any human that chose to follow their passion, I’d love to meet you and tell your story visually 📸

During our summer assignment @hom_mini_chalets with Marine, Luc, I had such a fun time slowing down to discover and document all the hidden flora and fauna around the area. The highlight of the field days was observing a resident beaver family and their impressive multi-generational dam. They are real ecosystem engineers.

Capturing how much life thrives made this assignment truly special and worth the 3AM wake-up calls. But also a reminder to observe with respect and distance 🩵

Projects close to the heart often encounter challenges, personal financial, time investment, adaptation and a lot of blind research phase just to move forward. Although they reshape your perspective and are the most fulfilling.

Coral regeneration goes beyond the corals, from the impact on the communities living on the frontlines of climate change, coastline erosion and much more […]

I’m glad I have @gabsonearth @galangwnie alongside me for this project with @coralplantners @seabertvin⏱️🩵

A glimpse into the world of Rosie, a reminder of how tied we all are to the marine world. 🌊✨

“Everyone has a different connection to the natural world, but at the end, the feelings are often the same.” - Rosie Poirier

These are a few of my favourite frames created for @fujifilmx_ca alongside @marinecoursac during a fun afternoon 🩵

The objective: showcase the camera in the field and reveal the visual style it delivers featuring the 23mm(35mm equivalent) as our main glass, backed by the 16-80mm 🤭

A place that hold my roots, a place I keep returning to. No matter where I travel, the Asian continent keeps pulling me back.

I’m looking forward to rediscover with a new set of eyes🙏🏽

In the meantime, here are a few frames from Thailand.

Meet Dani and Fika, brother and sister from a small village in Sumatra. They are happy and playful kids with 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀. In Indonesia, families are left on their own and most develop their own way of limited communication.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being farmers and cattle breeders, their parents don't have the funds to provide their child with proper aid and my donation of a few hundred $ is not enough.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Initially, I thought building a project from Canada where support and resources are more abundant would be easier, but I'm facing many obstacles, here are a few:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Documentary film to raise awareness? (need funds + a passionate team)
- Hearing loss specialist to evaluate the cost/needs of the children
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So if any of you have an idea and feel compelled by this project, please let me know below or send me a message!

Journal entry: 📖 Someone asked me the other day if I was worried about AI taking over my job. Truthfully, I can see how it might impact fields like coding or basic graphic design that lack deep strategy.
But when it comes to outdoor documentary filmmaking and branded photo campaigns? I truly believe that only a person who has actually felt the emotions, stood in the environment, and built a genuine connection can tell a story with true integrity and depth. You can’t algorithm your way into a soul.

So, here is a showreel featuring a selection of projects that made me feel alive. And a massive thank you to every human who has trusted me with their vision and allowed me to translate it into visual media. ✨

Shout out to @theartofdocumentary for the mentoring and @musicbed for providing the songs to my projects🤙🏼

No matter how many times I revisit a place, I never get tired seeing how each elements collide. Every visit is a whole new visual and physical experience, a unique alchemy for every single day. In the mountains, when the light hits the sulfur clouds and the vibe is just right, I can’t help but feel stoked for life.

Steller sea eagles are natural scavengers. Traditionally, they would gather around the fishing boats and wait for the fisherman to discard fish left over, which made it a vital food source.

Nowadays, this interaction has evolve further due to tourism demand as operators intentionally throw fish in the ocean. Something that initially shocked me.😕

Witnessing these birds on ice was truly unique, but it also made me question our impact as humans. But also, the truth is that in our era, coexistence may be the most realistic.

Captured on FUJINON XF 500mm & FX16-55mm made possible with @fujifilmx_ca & @gosselinphoto
