Journal entry: 📖 Someone asked me the other day if I was worried about AI taking over my job. Truthfully, I can see how it might impact fields like coding or basic graphic design that lack deep strategy.
But when it comes to outdoor documentary filmmaking and branded photo campaigns? I truly believe that only a person who has actually felt the emotions, stood in the environment, and built a genuine connection can tell a story with true integrity and depth. You can’t algorithm your way into a soul.

So, here is a showreel featuring a selection of projects that made me feel alive. And a massive thank you to every human who has trusted me with their vision and allowed me to translate it into visual media. ✨

During our summer assignment @hom_mini_chalets with Marine, Luc, I had such a fun time slowing down to discover and document all the hidden flora and fauna around the area. The highlight of the field days was observing a resident beaver family and their impressive multi-generational dam. They are real ecosystem engineers.

Capturing how much life thrives made this assignment truly special and worth the 3AM wake-up calls. But also a reminder to observe with respect and distance 🩵

No matter how many times I revisit a place, I never get tired seeing how each elements collide. Every visit is a whole new visual and physical experience, a unique alchemy for every single day. In the mountains, when the light hits the sulfur clouds and the vibe is just right, I can’t help but feel stoked for life.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day, a time to honor the resilience and preservation of diverse cultures around the world.

One thing I’ve observed among them is the shared values of respect for nature, reverence for elders, and the strength of community. Beyond that, powerful voices that deserve to be heard, and our time to listen, human to human.

Today, I’m reminded of the faces I’ve been fortunate to share a meal, a conversation, or presence with. Some of us couldn’t communicate with words, yet the connection felt genuine, welcoming, and deeply human.

Looking back to these frames, it reminds me of a conversation with my grandmother where our core roots is uncertain, but a similar story of hope and rebuilding […]

[…] Meanwhile, during a morning walk, I got distracted by a few side quests. One of which led me to start a conversation with someone standing near his visually aesthetic store. Turns out, he ran a travel agency, and when I mentioned I was looking to hire a horseman for a self-guided tour, he had just the person in mind.

The recommendation was Santiago: known for his reliability, 30+ years of experience in the mountains and simply for being a kind human. After spending six days with him, I honestly can’t recommend him enough 👏🏽 and that goes for his two companions too: Macho Chumpy (left) and ChumChum (right), with whom Elise and I really bonded to.

Funny thing is, ChumChum matched my energy the most, a bit all over the place when something excites him, always getting into side quests… but then suddenly back on track, running silly🫣.
