The day is finally here!!! Meet… The Girlies! In April, my team and I finished THE GIRLIES, a zany, slapstick short shot on 16mm film. Produced by a female led crew of silly people, THE GIRLIES is a 21st century love letter to silent film, physical comedy, and analog filmmaking. To call this project a labor of love would be a vast understatement – this was a labor of pure joy and care, made possible by the greatest A-team of friends and collaborators I’ve ever had the pleasure of working alongside. I’ve wanted to share this project for a long time, and I’m so proud to announce that THE GIRLIES will be screening for the first time this Wednesday, December 11th at 9:30 pm as part of the HollyShorts Monthly Screening Series!
