Funny what happens when the coffee is good, the conversations are better + nobody’s in a rush to leave.

Turns out the best way to disconnect is to sit down with people who make you forget to check your phone.

Tag someone you’d spend an unplugged coffee date with. 👇

HEY HOBYYY!!!!

Such an AMAZING weekend with the most wonderful facilitator and the most OUTSTANDING group of ambassadors!!! Watching my group grow and lead this weekend was so powerful, and I hope they continue to lead within their communities! HOBY is such a wonderful experience, not only for the students, but also all of the volunteers! HOBY has taught me how to lead and has helped me gain so much confidence within myself, and has become something that I look forward to every year. I can’t wait to see everything that the ambassadors achieve throughout their lives, and I also can’t wait for HOBY next year!! My cup is overflowing!! #HOBY #BlueBandits #Group19

Will is a Senior graduating this Spring from UNA’s Sociology Program with a minor in Business Management. Will is from Andalusia, Alabama. He chose sociology because he wanted to understand how systems, institutions, and everyday interactions shape the individual. His favorite sociology course was Death and Dying because “Death gives meaning to life!” Being able to study how other cultures and individuals are shaped by their views on death, and how it brings value to their living was something that stuck with Will. Will plans on working in Franchise Support at Grit and Grind Coffee after graduation. Congratulations, Will!
