Such a gorgeous spot along the Coral Coast 🪸

We’ve been here many times and I have to say, the fact that most of the beach camping is now not allowed, has actually made the campsite better ☀️

Behind the dunes you’re protected and during the day, the beach is for everyone … it’s an absolute VIBE 🙌🏻

Do recommend bring a tinny - luckily we looked hungry enough to go out with some friends and caught some squid 🦑

Not the place for snorkelling (head to Five Fingers reef for that one) but stunning beach days and campfires by night made this place 💯

We made so many lovely friends and the kids played from sunrise until sunset 🌅

📍 Dunblane Station, Barcaldine

Wow wow wow. This station stay rates up there as one of the best camps we have ever stayed at.

Until last week I had never heard of it but stumbled across it when looking where the artesian hot springs were available in QLD.

You book via Hipcamps and it was pretty cheap at $47 a night with kids for free. We stayed at the McBrides Flowing Bore site and purchased 50kg of firewood for $20 - highly recommend this! 🔥

From the moment we arrived on the property it felt like we had the entire station to ourselves, even though there are 5 sites here apparently you’d never know.

We had our own private pool/tub which we could fill up straight from the hot artesian spring, apparently the water quality is so good you can drink it. It was crystal clear and not like your typical bores.

If these photos don’t sell it for you take our word for it you’ll never find a more peaceful relaxing stay - well we haven’t anyway!
