Chris, our co-founder, combined his love for underwater diving and photography. He started his own photography business selling his work on canvas, aluminium, glass and slate.

One day he suggested we print on travel friendly towels. No-one else was doing anything like this at the time, we were travelling overseas a lot, and carrying big, bulky, wet, sandy towels was a nuisance. We thought, 'Why not make them a bit more personal with Chris' designs'

Chris is very interested in the unique patterns that form in nature. Our OG designs were up close patterns of fish scales; coral trout, mahi mahi, parrot fish, Spanish mackerel etc..

As we've evolved, so have our designs - exploring coral reefs, iconic Aussie landscapes, and more sea life. But we're not just about OUR vision. We are proud to collaborate with many talented photographers and showcase their work on our towels too, creating an ever growing collection and community ❤️

We love how people connect with our towels, not just for their use, but for the stories and connections they have with the design. Heart Reef holds sentimental value of a time they got engaged. The Whale Shark makes for memorabilia of a once in a lifetime, bucket list item ticked off. Tangalooma brings back memories of annual family camping trips to Moreton Bay. The Kimberley reminds them of their big lap of Aus, seeing the red dirt meet the blue ocean.

They are so much more than 'just towels'
They are memory keepers, a practical souvenir that you can take anywhere with you ☺️
