@myhbeach 🌴 BROWARD BLUEPRINT SALUTES HALLANDALE BEACH! 🌊

Broward County is a tapestry of unique communities, each with its own personality, character, and story. At Broward Blueprint, we love celebrating the neighborhoods that make our county so special!

And Hallandale Beach? What a welcome to Broward County! As one of the first communities you encounter when crossing north from Miami-Dade, Hallandale Beach offers a taste of everything that makes South Florida extraordinary.

🐎 Gulfstream Park is one of its signature destinations, combining the tradition of Florida horse racing with an impressive entertainment, dining, and shopping complex. It’s a must-see stop for anyone exploring Broward County!

🌊 The Oceanfront District showcases beautiful oceanfront condominiums and spectacular Atlantic views.

🛥️ Three Islands offers a distinctive residential setting with beautiful Intracoastal Waterway views, waterfront scenery, and a lifestyle that captures the best of South Florida living.

And beyond these well-known destinations, Hallandale Beach is a collection of neighborhoods, each contributing its own character to the larger community.

Hallandale Beach has come a long way, and we’re here to celebrate its transformation, its evolution, and its glow-up! ✨

Because a city isn’t just its skyline, its shopping centers, or its biggest attractions. It’s the neighborhoods, the people, and the little pockets of community that give it character and soul.

📍 Broward Blueprint salutes Hallandale Beach — and all the neighborhoods that make Broward County one of a kind!

It’s the little hamlets that make up a city and give it its soul.

🚨 FLORIDA HOMEOWNERS: IT’S TIME TO END THE WASTE!

This November 3rd, Floridians have an opportunity to rethink property taxes, provide relief to middle-class homeowners, and help make homeownership more attainable for the next generation.

The proposal is aimed at easing the burden on homeowners—not giving wealthy second-home owners and vacation-property investors another break.

At Broward Blueprint, we’ve spent years reporting on government spending, bloated bureaucracies, excessive salaries, generous perks, and questionable priorities. Meanwhile, working families are struggling with the cost of living and young people are wondering whether they’ll ever afford a home of their own.

When taxpayers are tightening their belts, government should be doing the same.

And here’s another pet peeve of mine: Florida’s obsession with spending millions on tourism marketing. We’re already one of the world’s premier destinations. Disney, Universal, our beaches, our restaurants, and our natural beauty generate extraordinary experiences that visitors share every day through social media and video.

Imagine redirecting more public money toward what actually makes Florida a better place to live and visit: cleaner beaches, beautiful parks, improved infrastructure, a healthier environment, and essential public services.

Less waste. Less bureaucracy. More accountability. More investment in our communities. And more focus on the people who pay the bills!

It’s time to question every dollar spent and demand better from our local and state governments.

END THE GRAVY TRAIN. PUT TAXPAYERS FIRST.

@alison4pompano @beverlyperkinsofficial @freddyyorkd2 @audrey4pompano POMPANO BEACH HAS A CHANCE TO CHANGE THE BALANCE OF POWER. 🌴

For years, Pompano Beach’s six-member City Commission has repeatedly split 3–3 on major issues. This November 3rd, four commission seats are on the ballot. That means residents have an opportunity to reshape the commission and potentially establish a new voting majority.

Broward Blueprint is recommending four candidates we have personally met and gotten to know:

✅ Beverly Perkins — District 4
✅ Alison Fournier — District 3
✅ Audrey Fesik — District 1
✅ Freddie York — District 2

We believe these candidates represent a RESIDENTS FIRST approach to local government: fiscal responsibility, better parks and public spaces, thoughtful development, and a higher quality of life for the people who call Pompano Beach home.

We’ve met each of them. We value their authenticity, their willingness to ask tough questions, and their focus on residents’ concerns rather than simply rubber-stamping major development proposals.

REMEMBER THE COSTCO VOTE.

On July 28, 2026, the commission split 3–3 on an appeal involving the proposed Costco at The Pomp development. Commissioners Audrey Fesik, Beverly Perkins, and Alison Fournier voted against overturning the Planning and Zoning Board’s denial. The motion failed. That vote is part of the public record, and residents should examine it for themselves.

The bigger question is this: Who gets to shape Pompano Beach’s future — the people who live here, or the interests seeking to develop it?

Growth is inevitable. But how we grow matters. Residents deserve transparency, responsible spending, infrastructure that keeps pace, and development that respects the community.

This November, get informed. Review the candidates. Watch the commission votes. Ask who benefits from each major decision.

Pompano Beach’s future is on the ballot.

REAL LEADERS. REAL CHANGE.
RESIDENTS FIRST. NOT DEVELOPER FIRST.

@scottsingerusa 🚨 HOW OUT OF TOUCH CAN YOU BE? 🚨

The recently announced endorsements involving Hollywood Mayor Josh Levy and candidates Hillary Cassel and Jared Moskowitz raise serious questions about how disconnected some politicians are from what’s happening on the ground in Hollywood.

I typically vote Republican straight down the ballot. But this November, I’m DEFINITELY voting for Democrat Todd Delmay in Florida House District 101. A Josh Levy endorsement is unacceptable to me.

Honestly, it’s heartbreaking to watch what’s happened to Hollywood. Downtown is being hollowed out, development controversies continue, the beach overlay raises serious concerns, and scandal after scandal has left residents questioning the direction of our city.

Hollywood has so much potential. Yet residents continue to voice frustration about the decline of downtown, the future of Hollywood Beach, and decisions being made at City Hall.

If you follow Broward Blueprint, you’ve seen my Joshzilla memes. 😂 That nickname reflects the frustration I’ve expressed about Levy’s leadership and the direction of our community.

So when Hillary Cassel and Jared Moskowitz are associated with political endorsements from Josh Levy, I have to ask: Are they paying attention to what’s happening in Hollywood?

Have they listened to residents at commission meetings? Have they seen the criticism and frustration playing out across our community? These endorsements are surprising when so many residents are openly questioning the direction of our city.

Now, here’s my message to Democrats throughout Broward County: Please consider Republican Scott Singer for Congress in District 25, which includes Hollywood. He’s running against Jared Moskowitz, and I believe voters should carefully examine the political relationships and records involved.

I’m willing to cross party lines when accountability matters more than party loyalty. That’s why I’m voting for Todd Delmay.

Hollywood deserves better than politics as usual. Our community’s future should matter more than political alliances.

Are these endorsements evidence that some politicians are out of touch with Hollywood res

@daniabeachfl @mayorjoyceldavis One of the things we love about Dania Beach is the effort the city has made to bring the community together through Dania After Dark. 🍻🎉

Long before it became fashionable for cities to talk about “building community,” Dania Beach was already doing it — creating events where residents could get out, meet their neighbors, and simply have a great time together.

And the season kicks off with Oktoberfest this Saturday! 🇩🇪🍺

It’s a fun, family-friendly celebration with plenty of festivities, great energy, and the perfect opportunity to enjoy an evening with your neighbors, friends, and family.

Best of all? It’s FREE and open to the public!

So whether you live in Dania Beach or anywhere else in Broward County, come on out and experience one of the city’s great community traditions.

Dania After Dark is what happens when a city creates places and events where people actually connect. ❤️

🚨Hollywood Beach is one of the last low rise beach communities left in South Florida. This Wednesday is the FINAL VOTE on a plan that would allow for dramatically taller development across Hollywood Beach.

If it passes:

• Hollywood Beach Resort: The historic resort is already at risk of demolition. The Bonus Overlay could allow its redevelopment to reach 34 to 49 stories.

• 1301 S. Ocean Drive: Publicly owned land currently proposed for a 27 story residential tower.

• Across Hollywood Beach: Much of the beach is currently limited to 65 feet, roughly 5 to 6 stories. The Bonus Overlay would allow development reaching up to 30 stories across large areas of the beach.

PLEASE SHOW UP. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO!!!

📅 Wednesday, October 7 at 3 PM
📍 Hollywood City Hall

We need as many people in that room as possible telling the Commission that we do not want this.

If you care about keeping Hollywood Beach the place we know and love, this is the meeting to come to.

If you absolutely cannot make it, please email the Mayor and Commissioners and tell them to VOTE NO on the Hollywood Beach Bonus Overlay.

EMAIL: mayor-commissioners@hollywoodfl.org

BIG thank you to @pushdownxturn for the incredible flyer work once again. 💓

@raskindforhollywood 🎙️ NEW BROWARD BLUEPRINT PODCAST

Residents First. That’s the platform David Raskind is running on for Hollywood Commission District 3.

Originally, David’s opponent was set to essentially walk right into the commission seat unopposed. We think voters deserve a choice. Thankfully, David stepped up to accept the challenge and offer an alternative to the establishment candidate.

David is new to politics—not a career politician or political insider—but he felt strongly enough about the direction of Hollywood to step up and run.

Over the next couple of weeks, you’ll get to know David through the Broward Blueprint Podcast. We went in depth on what he would do as a commissioner, his vision for downtown Hollywood, development pressure, the beach overlay, and why he believes Hollywood needs more balance between development and the residents who actually live here.

We also had Pompano Beach Commissioner Audrey Fesek join us as co-host.

Stay tuned. More clips with David Raskind are coming! 🎥
