POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

If you have an upcoming talk this week or month

These 7 rehearsal steps are all you need:

Back in the days,

I’d get worried sick even weeks before an upcoming presentation.

Not that it was a career defining moment…
But I didn’t know how to prepare for it.

So I would memorize like a script half of the time and lose my sleep the remaining time.

So I decided to fix the rehearsal & prep for you.

Save this post.
Use it.
Nail your presentation every time.

1️⃣ Rehearse on your feet

2️⃣ Rehearse out loud with slides

3️⃣ Rehearse openings & endings more than the rest

4️⃣ Rehearse transitions & tricky spots

5️⃣ Edit and cut as you go

6️⃣ Film yourself

7️⃣ Get outsider’s opinion

Preparation is not memorization.

It’s smart rehearsal: Muscle memory, clarity and confidence beat last-minute panic every time.

Last Friday’s @love_means_business Speaker Support & Referral Community Connections event was filled with great conversations, learning, and celebrating ALL the wins that have bloomed from this community over the last month. It took me over 5 minutes to call out all the member collaborations, speaking engagements booked, and podcast appearances! 🙌

To top it all off I received several messages from attendees saying things like these are “the best virtual networking events I’ve been to.”

The LMB Speaker Support & Referral Community is full of heart centered thought leaders from all industries and locations that have one BIG thing in common: making an impact with their work. That’s one of the secrets to what makes our networking events so special. As one attendee said, “you’ve curated a group of so many super-interesting people.”

If you are a heart centered leader looking for others like you, opportunities to get booked, and events that are full of education & connection…this community was made for you. Learn more and/or join using the #linkinbio

If you’ve got questions…reach out to me on here. 🫶🏻

Thank you @candice_elizabeth.co for co-hosting & grabbing this photo!

Meet Will Greenblatt: CEO of @outloudschool, “recovering child actor,” and proud owner of a psychopathic corgi named Mathilda. 🎭

Will started acting at 7, ran away to teach English in Spain, became an entrepreneur in China, and now helps founders and execs tell their stories on stages around the world.

He’s done 275+ talks across 6 countries, worked with Google, EO, and Remax, wrote Transform Your Speaking Skills, and has won exactly one-and-a-half business awards (yes, really).

But behind the highlights reel… is a very different story. 😅

Let’s just say 2023 didn’t go according to plan...and it forced a complete rethink of what success actually means.

Catch Will at @FuckupNightsTO on November 27 @stacktmarket for a story about chaos, choices, and why the real goal isn’t scale…

It’s sanity.

It’s wild how we try to explain who we are with bullet points… when the real magic is in the story behind it.

That’s the power of storytelling. It connects the dots. It gives people a reason to understand you, remember you, and trust you.

This conversation with Will Greenblatt had me rethinking the way we talk about our work… and honestly, ourselves.

If you’re in sales, leadership, or just trying to show up more confidently, your story matters more than you think.

New episodes every Wednesday! Pull up a seat, you’ll love this one.

I wanted to something special on the podcast for Father’s Day, so I put up the bat signal and got a few awesome dads to join me.

We drafted teams of the best dads from movies and tv!

What started out as a fun game turned into a deep conversation about what it means to be a father, the father figures that were modeled for us growing up, and the traits that are important for a dad to have.

Check out the full conversation linked in bio and vote for your favorite team!
