I had the joy of meeting 14-year-old Brooklyn Marie and her dad last weekend in Alexandria, MN with @willhutch

…AND then getting to watch this moment from The Voice was awesome!

Brooklyn stepped onto that stage, started singing, and two coaches turned their chairs immediately. And Queen Latifah’s reaction?! 👀🔥

At just 14 years old, Brooklyn is already courageously using the gift God has given her.

And as someone who loves encouraging young people to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and use their voices, this was so inspiring. ❤️

Brooklyn, keep singing. Keep showing up boldly. Your voice matters, and clearly, people are listening! 🎶✨

✨ What. A. Week in Hong Kong! ✨

This trip was special in SO many ways. Let's begin with the incredible food and the people who make this city so vibrant. This post could’ve easily been captioned: “What I ate in Hong Kong and who I met.” 🤩

One of the highlights was speaking with students. Having honest conversations with teens about mental health, pressure, identity, and what it means to grow up in a demanding world.

The questions, the openness, and the willingness to engage vulnerably left a lasting impression on me @willhutch

I’m also grateful for every parent, educator, and leader who shared their stories. Those moments of conversation are always the most meaningful part.

What a joy to have shared this experience with my family. Travel reminds me how universal our experiences really are. Different cultures, different systems, but the same hopes for our children and the same desire to raise emotionally healthy young people (and adults!).

Thank you for your warm welcome. I’m leaving Hong Kong inspired and deeply appreciative.😊

Hong Kong: Pandas, monkeys, boat rides…oh my! 🐼🐒🚤

Before the conference kicked off, the team generously gave us a couple of days to take in the beauty of Hong Kong—and we soaked up every moment.

From dancing with the pandas to watching a playful monkey family, cruising along the water, and taking in those breathtaking island views… it was the perfect start to our time here.

There’s something special about experiencing a new place through your child’s eyes. I’m deeply grateful for these moments—and for a team thoughtful enough to make space for a little wonder before the work began. 🌊✨🙏🏽
