Swipe and sound on for juicy video sound effects - Supporting evidence that sour dough is an art, that I’m yet to master. Yet enjoying my role as apprentice home baker with a phone in hand for instructions. Thanks to all the sour dough bakers out there for your content and tips!

Synopsis -

Set in regional Victoria, Billy & Jim (Short Film) follows James, a 35-year-old son navigating the quiet heartbreak of caring for his father, Billy, a lifelong horseman whose sense of self is slowly slipping away as dementia takes hold.

During Billy's last day living in the family home, the film explores the unspoken loss of rehoming horses that have defined Billy's life and the reality of downsizing into care.

Told through moments of confusion, fleeting clarity, anger, humour, and deep tenderness, Billy & Jim offers an intimate
window into a family under strain, revealing how memory loss, grief, and financial hardship collide behind closed doors.

Inspiration flows differently out here.

Location scouting for Billy and Jim — our latest short film.

Written by @williamjlee, the story follows the quiet heartbreak Jim faces while caring for his father, as dementia slowly takes hold.
