Big Brother recently celebrated its 1,000th episode, earning two Guinness World Records: most episodes of a primetime TV show and most episodes of a competitive reality TV show.

Two of Big Brother’s originals were on hand to celebrate the occasion: Don Wollman and Douglas Ross, both of whom worked on the original series.

Ross was the executive producer of Big Brother 1, with his company Evolution Media tasked with producing the first season. Following BB1, Ross went on to produce a number of major television franchises including Fear Factor, The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Botched and Vanderpump Rules.

Wollman, meanwhile, has been with Big Brother for all 28 seasons and currently serves as a co-executive producer. He’s also known as the “voice of Big Brother,” providing the recorded commands and announcements heard throughout the house, including the iconic “[Houseguest], please come to the Diary Room.”

Pretty cool that two people who worked on the very first season were there to celebrate the show reaching 1,000 episodes.
