It’s been brutal for so many. What a storm! I know it’s been hard caring for livestock, breaking ice, winterizing coops and pins, reviving calves born in the brutal temps, risking your life for the love and care of your animals, and on top of that, caring for your family! So today, I 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂 you get some rest. I 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂 that the animals are warm and safe. I 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂 that you get to eat a hot meal and enjoy the laughter of your family. I 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂 your house is warm and the coffee is hot.
I 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂 that you reflect and give yourself grace for the “I should haves”. I 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂 your circumstances change.

SO, 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 to ALL my farmer, homesteader, rancher, homemaker, gardener, prepper friends.
You are loved and appreciated.

We had SO MUCH FUN today!! Nolan officially needs to get into Rodeo because that kid has the best balance and center of gravity! No matter what he stayed on that sled!! Lucy thought it was the greatest thing in the world!! Her smile and laughter is so infectious. Also we only have four dogs. That fifth dog is Windy our Nigerian Dwarf goat. She must be with us if we are out 😂😂😂

Is #clothdiaper the rainbow a thing?
We have cloth diapered Gus since he was 2 months old and it has been the best decision we ever made and have been kicking ourselves for not doing it with our oldest. We LOVE our diapers, we get a lot of side eye glances when people see it but I also love to educate people on disposable diapers environmental impact, their health impact, and how seriously EASY cloth diapering is to do. If I can do it anybody can!

Been working on Lucy’s new bedroom! Gus has been sleeping in his Moses Basket that’s located at the foot of Ryan and I’s bed for the past almost three months and my big boy has just about outgrown it. So soon (the plan is in 2-4 weeks) Lucy’s room will be done and we can move her to the big girl room and Gus to the nursery. My how one year changes everything!
