Another Andes Day on the books. This year is one to be remembered. Humbled, as always, by the vibrant community we have. Deeply grateful to have friends new and old to celebrate with. Community is what you make of it, and we sure have made a great one.

Show me your ramp patch and I’ll show you mine
April flirting through thawed dirt and bare knees.
Cut-off jeans, sun on skin,
teasing the forecast like we don’t care (we do).

We’ve waited all winter
of course we’re talking about the weather.

Drink too much wine with old friends, new friends,
Say yes to one more walk,
one more bottle,
maybe a few more ramps before they’re gone.

Summer’s already winking..
fruit on the way,
freckles incoming.

We’re BAACCKK!

Y’all asked, and we listened—Mutsi is returning to our Evening Wine Bar service!

And this time we’re here Friday AND Saturday nights.

Kicking things off with a very lively evening…

Spring has sprung, so come on down to Cafe Mutsi next weekend for Wine & Vibes—a Catalan wine list takeover curated by @wilpetre, with tapas from Mutsi.

Nighttime service begins Friday & Saturday, April 10–11, featuring à la carte wines from the @coeurwineco portfolio, shareable small plates, and the best playlist this side of the Catskills.

Gildas, bikinis, and tortilla española alongside sparkling macabeo, Catalan spritzes, and skin-contact parellada—settle in, stay awhile, and enjoy a true sobremesa.

My heart is so full. As we approach the darkest day of the year, we ring in the holiday of light. I have been reflecting deeply this week on how we must go into the shadow to access the light. On how the deepest most unhealed parts of us must be witnessed and held before we can lovingly let them go. And as we do, the light floods in.

May this holiday season bring everyone what they need to move through the darkness and into the light.

Hey Grannycakes! A ten-tiered thank you to everyone who made this incredibly sweet and tender-hearted event a reality. Our talented teams of bakers served up gorgeous and delicious treats—enough to feed the 40? 50? people who came out to celebrate with us. Thank you @thisandthatdelhi for the use of your beautiful and inviting space; thank you @windward.land for capturing the magic so perfectly; big thanks to @tayteany for the perfect accompaniment to the sweets; kiitos to Raoul from @cafemutsi for being a judge; and a huge thank you to @visitdelhiny for sponsoring! And a big bear hug to @wilpetre, collaborator extraordinaire 💕🧁🍪
