Flag Football Playoff Video Dump!
What a season! Beyond proud of my team for going undefeated in the regular season and bringing home both Conference and Regional Championships! 🏆
Although our season came to a tough end in Sectionals, I couldn’t be more grateful for the memories, friendships, and everything we accomplished together.
Now it’s time to shift gears and get ready for @nflflag NFL Bears in Rockford and @allgosg Elite @iflagfb ATX Bowl in Arlington, TX! Excited to keep competing, improving, and putting in the work so we can come back even stronger for GBS next year! 💪🔥
Truly blessed to have the opportunity to play alongside and compete against some of the best high school athletes in the state!
A special thank you to all my coaches and teammates for an unforgettable season. So proud to be part of this team! #flagfootball

Your first few steps can create separation. 💨🥍

Acceleration + strength day with lacrosse athlete @jimmydowd_lax at @win_performance .

The emphasis: produce force into the ground, project the hips forward, and turn that push into explosive first steps.

We built the session with:
▪️ Banded iso holds and acceleration knee drives
▪️ Explosive 10-yard prowler pushes
▪️ @1080motion resisted sprints at 8 kg🔥
▪️ Slight incline sprints ( Low volume x Max intent)

Each drill gave Jimmy an opportunity to feel and practice the positions and intent behind a powerful start.

Then we hit box squats paired with banded split jumps, followed by front foot elevated split squats, hip flexor work, posterior chain, and core even the work you don’t see on camera matters. Can’t give you all the sauce😤🏁

Strength lays the foundation. Sprinting teaches you to use it. Every rep has a purpose.

Want to build a stronger, more explosive first step? WINNERS WIN…let’s work🏁

🚨 Parents: A great youth performance program should do more than make your kid tired.

Here are 4 things to look for:

1️⃣ Movement first. Athletes learn to run, jump, land, stop, and change direction with control.

2️⃣ Purpose behind every drill. Speed and strength work should fit the athlete and progress as they improve.

3️⃣ Real coaching. Every athlete deserves instruction, feedback, and encouragement.

4️⃣ Long-term development. We’re building better athletes for the years ahead, not just chasing one good workout.

And to every young athlete walking into @win_performance please bring four things to every session—your focus, your energy, your effort, and your attitude. We got the rest🤝🏾
