We are excited to announce that our film will be screening during Double Exposure Investigative Film Festival 2026 – on November 7 at 1 PM EST!

Romania is home to 70% of Europe’s last primary forests. ‘Wild East’ is an urgent, gripping portrait of Romanian environmentalist Gabi Paun as he risks everything to expose IKEA’s destruction of Romania’s forests.

In its twelfth season, @doubleexposurefestival is the only film festival in the United States dedicated exclusively to films that connect investigative journalism with visual storytelling.

This year’s DX Fest theme is ON THE RECORD: EVIDENCE IN AN AGE OF DOUBT. It features films, workshops, and panels centered around the question: what happens to a democracy when the record itself is under assault, not only from those who manufacture doubt, but from the institutions once trusted to dispel it?

Couldn’t imagine a better group to share the screen with for THE LIFE OF THE PARTY’S Vidiots premiere last month.

Thank you to all who came out for these three unique and spectacular films, demonstrating the range and versatility of the short documentary format. Thank you to our generous partners @docproducers, @nonfictionhotlist, and @vc_losangeles; thank you to @vidiots for hosting us in your beautiful space; thank you to filmmakers Freddie Gluck and Winslow Crane-Murdoch for sharing your talents; and thank you to everyone who approached us afterward to chat about the pain of watching friends and family disappear down rabbit holes of political and religious extremism. We live in extraordinary times, but they’ll only get better through a concerted effort to communicate more effectively. 💙
